Each of the Seven Sinners made a deal with the devil for limitless power, in exchange for spreading sin and chaos across the globe. Laiber was the first person to make a deal with the devil, and so he was the first to become corrupted. This takes place before any of the other Great Sinners becomes corrupted.

• The devil wanted to spread more sin and chaos into Gaia, so he made deals with seven people, representing the seven deadly sins. The devil made a deal with the seven sinners to give them limitless power, in exchange for them to become corrupted and sin. The Seven Great Sinners hold limitless power and they can do anything with their power.

• Before Laiber made a deal with the devil, he was a failing businessman. He tried hard to get rich, but no matter how hard he tried to succeed, his business always failed. He became frustrated and desperate for money and wealth. He was driven by hedonistic desire for wealth and power. He was desperate for money and power. When he was the most desperate for money, the devil came to him and made a deal with him. The devil granted Laiber endless power and wealth.
