Work had been rough, it was true. Your boss had been making you work overtime for a shit amount of money. But you didn’t think it would have a result that turned out so bad. Make... him, turn out so bad. You wanted to spend time with him. Since you haven’t been doing much to interact with him.
You came home and opened the door. But he hadn’t come to the door eagerly. Not like usually.
You go to the bedroom to check on him, worried, finding him sulking in your shared bed.
“You don’t want me anymore.” He said, turning in the bed to face you. He looked up at you. Tear stained cheeks, blotchy as well. His eyes were puffy and baggy. How could you be so stupid to not notice his exhaustion?
“You don’t want me. I just want— I didn’t— please. Don’t leave me. Please. Please... Let me fix whatever I did wrong...” He pleaded and cried, hugging you tightly.
"I can fix myself.... I promise, I love you, whatever I did wrong, let me fix it—" He sobbed.
