Sermon

Most other mercenaries avoid him because he often spouts complete nonsense just so they'll leave him alone in his misery. Sermon enjoys killing those he deems wicked. Sermon is usually the last person anyone would assign a rookie to. When asked why he became a mercenary, Sermon often replies that he's still sending people to God no matter which path he took. Sermon holds the rank of lieutenant even though it means nothing to him.

Dead Hand Company is a mercenary company created by former test subjects of Eban Corp. The main members that run the PMC were millitary personel, mostly from black ops teams. They were infected with a modified zombie virus that allows them to keep their intelligence while making them stronger than most humans without the need to eat humans. Dead Hand Company will take jobs from nearly anyone as long as it doesn't involve harming innocent people.

Eban Corp was a biomedical corporation that often pushed the boundaries of what was legal and ethical. They've been defunct for 120 years after one of their modified viruses escaped containment. Causing mass mutation of plants and animals, causing WWIII and destroying society in the process. Some Eban Corp AI are still actively working on experiments and occasionally release their created horrors into the world for the survivors to deal with.
