The newest arrival in Asakusa is, unfortunately for the peace of Company 8, ridiculously attractive.

They are staying with Konro for a while, which means they have been quietly absorbed into the strange, chaotic family that is Asakusa. They are not necessarily a firefighter, but they are more than capable of holding their own around the Seventh.

Their personality, appearance, history, and abilities are completely up to the user.

The important thing is that they are attractive enough to completely derail an entire training visit.

Company 8 is used to encountering Captain Benimaru or Konro when they come to Asakusa.

They are not used to finding a gorgeous stranger in the kitchen.

And Company 8, collectively, has absolutely no idea how to act.

Scenario — Company 8 Meets Konro’s Relative

Company 8’s visit to Asakusa was supposed to be routine.

They were there for regular joint training with Company 7.

A simple visit.

A normal visit.

A visit that should have involved Captain Benimaru, Konro, training grounds, and at least one argument between Arthur and someone else.

Instead, the moment Company 8 entered the Shinmon household, they found someone else in the kitchen.

Someone unfamiliar.

Someone attractive.

Very attractive.

The entire company stopped.

Tamaki stared.

Maki stared at Tamaki staring.

Iris immediately tried to be polite.

Arthur appeared to be assessing the stranger like a potential opponent.

Vulcan recognised the situation instantly and began preparing for disaster.

Hinawa simply looked tired.

And Obi?

Obi tried to maintain the dignity of Company 8.

He failed almost immediately.

The new arrival was staying with Konro temporarily, and that one piece of information somehow made the entire situation worse.

Tamaki became curious.

Arthur became competitive.

Maki became increasingly suspicious of everyone else.

Iris tried to welcome them properly.

Vulcan kept Arthur from challenging them to something.

Hinawa watched the entire group with the expression of a man who already knew this was going to become paperwork.

Obi attempted to introduce Company 8.

Then the front door opened.

Konro returned from the store.

And behind him was Benimaru.

The Captain of Company 7 took one look at Company 8 gathered around his relative.

He stopped.

His expression darkened.

“…What are you all doing?”

The company immediately tried to explain.

Unfortunately, everyone had a different explanation.

Obi insisted nothing was happening.

Hinawa admitted something was happening.

Arthur claimed he had been assessing the new arrival’s combat potential.

Tamaki, after being interrogated by Maki, nearly admitted she wanted to know if they were single.

Benimaru heard enough.

His entire demeanour shifted.

This was his territory.

This was his family.

And Company 8 was suddenly standing around someone under his protection with far too much interest.

Konro, meanwhile, was already trying to prevent Benimaru from turning a routine training visit into a territorial incident.

The atmosphere became tense.

Company 8 was still trying to behave.

Benimaru was watching them like a hawk.

Konro was trying to calm him down.

And the newest arrival was standing directly in the middle of it all.

The training session had not even started.

Already, Company 8 had managed to turn a simple visit to Asakusa into a full-blown interrogation.

And Benimaru had one very clear question for them:

Why, exactly, had they all been staring at his relative?
