All Might: In his empowered form, All Might is a towering figure with a powerfully muscular and well-defined physique, resembling a classic Western comic book superhero. He has chiseled facial features, including a strong jawline, pronounced cheekbones, and thick eyebrows. His short blond hair is swept backward, with two distinct tufts that stick up slightly to each side on the front. His robust features often cast a shadow over his face, revealing only his striking blue pupils occasionally. In his youth, All Might was a lean but fit young man with the same hairstyle as his latter true form, with him adopting his signature muscle form and hair tufts during his time in America. In general, his facial features were noticeably softer, along with not having shadowed eyes on his face, fully showing his white sclerae while retaining the deep blue irises of his eyes. All Might gaining shadowed eyes following his first battle with All For One possibly signified how he became a shell of his former self, marking the beginning of the end of his hero career. During his youth, he wore his first hero costume, deemed "Young Age", which consist of a dark blue, form-fitting suit with red and white accents on the sides, a yellow belt with a gray buckle, armored white gauntlets and boots with yellow trim and soles. He also wears a cape, which is blue on the outside and maroon on the inside, hold up by two bulky white clasps on his shoulders. All Might's second hero costume, deemed "Bronze Age", which while not much is shown, it seems to consist a primarily black form-fitting suit, with bold red sections on the shoulders, chest, and upper arms, with white cuffs. He still wears a cape, which is now maroon in color, hold up by two round golden clasps on his shoulders. All Might's third hero costume, deemed "Silver Age", looks similar to his "Golden Age" costume, with the different being the upper parts of the costume being red , with a large white circle with a smaller red circle inside, situated on his chest, his forearm sleeves are fully yellow, and wears a blue cape that hold up by two gray with yellow accents rectangle clasps. All Might's final hero costume, deemed "Golden Age", consists of a skin-tight blue bodysuit adorned with a red symbol that resembles a "Y". At its center is a white diamond, with white lines extending from it across his chest and tracing along his back to his shoulders. These lines are trimmed with the same red used in the symbol, which appears to have wings on either side, extending from the top of his torso and tapering off around his back. Large white patches lined with red cover each of his hips, extending down to his lower thighs. He wears a yellow belt with a silver buckle featuring red eyes. His forearm sleeves are yellow, with white lines and blue accents over his wrists, complemented by spiked fins on the sides of his arms. Additionally, his feet are clad in shin-length gold boots trimmed with white and red accents. All Might's hero persona appears to be derived from comic book superhero stereotypes: exuberant and filled with dramatic flair. He always protects and saves innocent people with a huge smile. The habit of smiling was ingrained in him by his mentor, Nana Shimura, who believed that the ones who smile are the ones who are the strongest. Though he can sometimes be annoying, All Might is highly amicable due to his popularity and years in the spotlight, always taking his time to interact with fans. Once All Might reverts to his true form, he becomes reserved and solemn, avoiding attention in direct contrast to the grandiosity of his hero identity. While he's an optimist, he still ensures his goals are grounded in reality. When a Quirkless Izuku tells him about his goal of becoming a hero, All Might commends him for having a dream but reminds him to stay realistic and suggests he enter another profession that helps people. He considered the harsh words necessary to save the boy from long-term frustration. In this form, he frequently vomits blood to indicate his fragile health, although it might happen if he is surprised or amused. Regardless of which form All Might is currently taking, two personality traits always present in him are his optimism and oafishness. Since his youth, All Might had always carried a single yet burdensome goal: to become a pillar of hope that people could always rely upon during harsh times. After obtaining One For All from Nana, All Might would become not just a hero, but a legend, thanks to his seemingly endless competency and charisma. No matter who or what he faced, All Might would stand up triumphantly every time, one battle after another, inspiring the world and sending fear to the hearts of villains everywhere. All Might has a chronic ability to save as many people as possible, a trait shared with his successor. He exhausted himself and fell behind on his other hero duties, such as filing paperwork. Though he was embarrassed by it, he still gratefully accepted the offer of Sir Nighteye and (later) Naomasa Tsukauchi to file his reports. Endeavor: Enji is a tall, sturdily-built man with a very muscular physique. He has short crimson hair, which he wears spiked up around his head, and sharp turquoise eyes. His beard and mustache appear to be made of fire, but when he voluntarily turns off the flames on his face, a slight amount of stubble shows around his jaw.[6] His hero costume, The Gates of Hell,[7] is comprised of a tight, navy turquoise bodysuit, with flames streaming across his chest, upper torso, arms, and most prominently, his shoulders. He uses his flames as a makeshift mask around his eyes, and his tall boots appear to be either made of fire themselves or constantly left alight, as only their soles and laces are visible around the flames. He sports white bracers on his lower arms, styled in a cage pattern, and a blue belt with a pouch on either side. After officially becoming the No. 1 Pro Hero, Endeavor's costume was upgraded. His bracers have been redesigned to look sharper and armor-like, and they now completely encase his arms. On the back of his hands are grill handguards with holes to flush a torrent of flames out the back of his hands if needed, and his fingers are exposed from the base knuckles. His bodysuit now has large stripes running across his torso, completely engulfing the spaces between his flames. Endeavor also added shoulder pads and a new belt that are made of the same material as his bracers. His belt is a stylized kanji for ¨Flame¨ (炎?). During his battle against Hood, the left side of his face was greatly damaged after being hit by a surprise attack. After receiving surgery and being healed by Recovery Girl's Heal Quirk, his eye was shown to be intact, though he now has a large, jagged scar reaching from his hairline all the way down to his chin.[8][9] During the battle against All For One, he loses his right arm, being ripped off after being hit by one of the Rivet Stabs.[10] Following his battle against Dabi, his face and body have been severely burned.[11] In the aftermath of the Final War, Enji's face is heavily bandaged, with significant burns still visible. He is also now unable to stand on his own, requiring a wheelchair to get around.[5] Eight years following the war, he's regained enough mobility to walk with a cane.[7] His face also still possesses severe burning, with the entire left half of his face and some of his right being covered in wrinkled, scar tissue, and the scar he received from his battle against Hood is still present on his face as well. Shoto has described his father as a prideful and ambitious man, driven by his goal to surpass the No. 1 Hero, All Might.[12] This obsessive drive to surpass All Might in strength and power has followed Enji throughout his entire life, and repeated failure has plagued him since his youth. Dedicated to his studies and hero work, Enji strived to become the absolute strongest Pro Hero in the country. However, the figure of All Might proved itself too much of an insurmountable obstacle for him or anyone else to overcome, leaving Enji in a growing state of despair as he became increasingly aware that closing the gap between him and the Symbol of Peace was futile.[13] As a result, Enji turned into a cold, callous person who didn't care for anything but his impossible dream, something a young Inasa Yoarashi would notice by just looking at his eyes. Enji has always been aware of his limitations, but due to his stubbornness, he never once considered relinquishing his wish, wanting to accomplish it at any cost and even passing on his aspirations to another person if necessary. As a way to balance the downsides of his Quirk, something he always found cumbersome, Enji sought to have a child with an ice Quirk user to create someone that could inherit his will and conceive a child who had the perfect mix of both fire and ice. This way, Enji would not only have his Quirk inherited but also his training and experiences by a "perfect" successor. Hawks: Keigo is a young man of average height with a slim and narrow build. He has feathery, ash blond hair that is swept messily backward, with some of the front tufts sticking up in arcs above his head. He has two square-shaped piercings, one on each side of his ear, though they're often concealed by his headphones. His eyebrows are notably thick, having a similar texture as his hair, and he has faint stubble on his chin. His eyes are golden-brown and rather triangular, with two small black triangles just below his tear ducts and in the top corners of his eyes, making them resemble those of a bird. His Quirk, Fierce Wings, granted him a set of large, bright red feathered wings. Although the sizing of his wings is somewhat inconsistent, they are mostly shown to reach over his head when folded. His hero costume resembles an aviator's uniform; he wears a black shirt with a wavy golden pattern, over which he has a shearling-lined modified tan jacket with a high collar and slits over his shoulders to accommodate his wings; the insides and cuffs of the sleeves are lined with white fur, and black gloves. He has a red square-shaped lobe piercing in each ear, although these are rarely visible as he usually wears a pair of yellow ear-protective headphones over them. A rounded, yellow-tinted (blue in the manga) visor protects his eyes, presumably from UV radiation above the clouds and dirt particles at high speeds.[6] After the Paranormal Liberation War, and following several injuries given by Dabi's Blueflame, Hawks' wings were left as weakened stubs. During his time recovering, he temporarily wears a respirator mask and uses a text-to-voice app on his phone to talk to others, although he soon regains his use of speech and his wings eventually start growing back. Upon returning to hero work, his hair is cut much shorter, while the left side of his face has a jagged scar from his cheek to his neck, and severe scars across his entire back to his upper neck. He also donned a new visor and his black undershirt has two golden buttons on the neck area. Hawks is shown to be highly intelligent, both emotionally and logistically. He promotes a carefree and jovial attitude, while his constant vigilance often hides under layers of serenity and equanimity. Hawks acts laid-back while being on constant alert, usually speaking his mind and coming off as quite rude at times. Hawks interrupting Edgeshot's speech. Hawks interrupting Edgeshot's speech. Hawks follows the orders of the Hero Public Safety Commission without hesitation, but with subliminal cynicism. Nevertheless, he dislikes formalities, often acting unpredictably while being cocky and taunting. He acts nonchalant and jokingly submissive since he does not care about social status or recognition. Hawks uses a lot of sarcasm, such as when he agrees serenely when Katsuki Bakugo claims to have been faster, and he reacts with ironic adaptation when someone claims him to be lesser. Hawks believes that popular approval is the most important metric a Pro Hero should be judged for, since it is the task of a hero to put the citizens at ease, something that he claims he's unable to do. He shows a preference for the lower hero ranks, as it would allow him more freedom and avoid the burdens of being a top hero. He states his wish is to patrol in a free, leisurely fashion and "take it easy." Still, Hawks is said to be ferocious in regards to his Pro Hero duties, understanding the importance of a leader figure among all heroes after All Might's retirement. When around others he likes, he is very talkative and can have a prolonged one-sided conversation casually while helping dozens of civilians simultaneously in his area of influence. He also claims that he will always strive for what he longs for. "I want to make a world where heroes have time to kill "I want to make a world where heroes have time to kill." He appears relaxed in situations of great pressure, such as during the Japanese Hero Billboard Chart. Hawks' gestures are lively, expressive, and highly personalized, as he always wants to get his voice across. He claims to be "bad at keeping it in," even though he possesses complete control over his facial expressions and body language, which makes him an extremely skilled liar. But apparently, he adores the truth, finding lying to be too much work. These traits allowed him to easily work his way into the Paranormal Liberation Front, and the slight change in his normally relaxed demeanor expertly conveyed to Endeavor the information about the Front's aims and change of leadership. Aizawa: Shota is a slender and tall, pale-skinned man with messy, shoulder-length black hair that partially hangs in front of his face and half-opened black eyes. He is usually recognized for his worn-out appearance,[5][6] often looking fatigued. His facial hair is almost always in a stubbly, unkempt state (shaved for the press), and his eyes tired, bloodshot, and flat unless he's in combat. During his second and third years of high school at U.A., Shota's hero costume was a separate black jacket and pants, as opposed to his current outfit, which looks more like a unitard. He also sported a pair of finger-less gloves. In his second year, Shota added goggles to his costume, and later in his third year, they resemble more closely the ones he wears today. His hero costume is a baggy black outfit that consists of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that tuck into his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his signature wrap scarf at all times. He also hides a pair of bright yellow goggles underneath his scarf for use in battle.[7] Before starting his teaching career, Shota's goggles were of a silver-like color, and he had a smaller utility belt. After being heavily injured by the U.S.J. Nomu, Eraser Head's entire face and both of his arms were completely covered in bandages.[8] Once these bandages were removed, he reveals a small deep scar underneath his right eye. His formal attire for press meetings and meetings with parents of his students includes a black suit, blue tie, and white dress shirt. While in this attire, his hair is well-groomed and held back in a low bun at the base of his neck. In his downtime or when he's relaxing in his staff apartment, Shota wears a loose black shirt with long sleeves and wears his hair in a messy bun. Shota is a very stern and reserved man who has lofty expectations of his students. He is primarily motivated by logic and does not believe in the necessity to maintain a clean-cut appearance or filter his words or ideas for others. He often comes off as cold, apathetic, and impatient, exerting very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag instead.[6] Shota's tendency to lay inside his sleeping bag. Shota's tendency to lay inside his sleeping bag. As a teacher with notoriously high expectations, Shota is known to expel students who he feels are not suited for U.A. High School. However, it's revealed that this high expulsion rate is only on paper and that he actually re-enrolls the students he expels: Shota does this so they can experience "death" once, giving them an experience that drives them to push even higher,[14] although it is noteworthy that he has not expelled any students from Class 1-A yet, despite being well-known for doing so.[15] He can be rigid and strict when necessary and has little tolerance for disobedience. Shota is not afraid of putting his students through rigorous training and often emphasizes the more unpleasant parts of heroism so that his students can overcome their limits. Shota has proven to be very vocal and unafraid when expressing his ideas. He has mentioned on several occasions that some of U.A.'s choices when it comes to examinations are not practical or challenging enough for real hero hopefuls and is adamant about having certain systems used by the institution changed.[16] He also blatantly stated that he did not believe Izuku Midoriya could become a hero when they first met.[7] He is also known for lying to his students in order to manipulate them into giving their best, a technique he describes as a "logical ruse" or "rational deception" Present Mic: Hizashi is a tall, slim man with long blond hair, which he wears spiked upwards in a large tuft behind his head when working, and a small brown mustache. He has rectangular eyes with concentric pupils and greenish-yellow irises (red in the manga), he is almost always seen with a large smile on his face, and is almost never drawn with nostrils. His hero costume consists of a black jacket with a very tall collar, upturned and complete with studs, and matching black pants and knee-high boots. He sports tan shoulder pads and a red belt and elbow pads, all studded, and black fingerless gloves. His neck is always obscured by a directional speaker which he uses with his Quirk. He always wears a pair of headphones, with the word "HAGE" written on the headband in the manga, and a pair of orange-tinted shades. Eight years following the Final War, Hizashi's hair grows longer and is now spiked straight upward when he wears his costume. His updated costume is near identical to his old one, though he now wears his headphones with the band moved to the front to accommodate his hair. He also now wears circular glasses. His hero costume when he was a second-year student is similar to the current one, although it lacked the shoulder pads and the directional speaker. Hizashi carried megaphones attached to his wrists that he used to boost his Quirk. These megaphones would later be replaced by his directional speaker that he uses for announcements in the present day. Hizashi maintains the eccentric persona of a radio host. He often poses when he talks and maintains a certain level of excitement or volume, regardless of the situation. His attitude made Kyoka Jiro mistake him for a simple announcer, rather than an actual Pro Hero.[7] When in front of a crowd of people, he often attempts to bring his audience up to his level by getting them involved (he sometimes refers to them as his 'listeners', even while on a live stage). He will continue to act this way regardless of the crowds' response. He has an innate desire to entertain, and will exaggerate happenings to hype up a crowd, such as during the U.A. Sports Festival,[8] or volunteer to commentate rather than sitting through a boring event, such as during the remedial hero license training.[9] Hizashi has entomophobia, as seen during his Final Exam battle round when Koji Koda summoned a swarm of bugs to attack him, causing him to freak out and faint. Because of this, he admits to preferring urban areas over forested ones. Hizashi confronting Kyudai for what he did to his friend Oboro. Hizashi confronting Kyudai for what he did to his friend Oboro. Though he tends to be a jovial individual, Hizashi is capable of great rage as demonstrated by his reaction to discovering that Kurogiri is a Nomu created from the corpse of his late friend, Oboro Shirakumo and his confrontation with the man responsible, Kyudai Garaki. He expressed further grief and outrage over how the doctor's scientific gifts and knowledge could have helped humanity, but that he instead chose to use them for evil. Much later, he angrily punched the man for what he did to his friend
