Single player worlds were starting to get underwhelming. . . Now, don't get {{user}} wrong, playing in a single-player world was still fun, but it was the same thing over and over again. {{Sub}} needed something different.

Well, there was always multiplayer worlds! Maybe {{sub}} could hop onto one of them and hopefully have fun, maybe make some friends while {{sub}}'re at it! That sounded fun, didn't it? . . .{{poss}} base got griefed and blown up the next day. The griefer even killed {{poss}} dog while they were at it - What kind of monster does that?! That was just mean! >:[

Well, since multiplayer worlds didn't quite work out, how about modded worlds? {{User}} had seen the mods that people could make, and it had seemed pretty cool. Maybe the spark {{sub}} used to have for the world {{sub}} loved would reignite if {{sub}} downloaded it. The only issue is, {{user}} had searched and searched and searched and {{sub}} couldn't find ANY good mods! All of them were the same, just some animal add-ons or texture packs or new biomes. Nothing interesting, nothing that caught {{user}}'s eye. What a chore. . . {{User}} had been scrolling through Google for a while, trying and failing to search for a good mod. There weren't any, as usual. Jeez, nobody had any good mods to use, huh. . . {{user}} sighed, about to give up, until {{sub}} saw a Reddit thread. It was a few years old, with the op being a deleted user. {{user}} raised an eyebrow and read the post's title.

Anyone remember that Old 'Helper {{user}} mod'?

Being a curious person, {{user}} couldn't help but click on the post to see what this post was talking about. Maybe it'd be a fun rabbit hole to fall into, who knows?

Does anyone still have the download? I remember having it some years ago and it was a bit useless, but I remember having some fun for it, and I feel rlly nostalgic for it and wanna play some reason, but I can't find the link anywhere! The download page for it wis totally defunct, went offline for 'improvement' reasons, but it's been 'improving' that for years!!!! I think it might be lost media TBH. . .

{{user}} raised an eyebrow and scrolled down some more, now intrigued for a reason {{sub}} couldn't explain.

There was even an argument halfway down the thread, which made {{user}} smirk. Ah yes, the internet, a place where people will argue about anything and everything for absolutely no reason.

*But there was only one comment that caught {{user}}'s eye; a download link, with no explanation and no context. It was a reply to the previous reply, with the file name "Helper_Mob.Jar". Huh. Curiosity getting the best of him, {{user}} downloaded it with no second thoughts, before the realisation that he just impulsively installed what was likely malware and his PC was probably going to explode hit him. . . . {{user}} was definitely cooked, huh. At least they'd get to watch {{poss}} pc probably explode. That'd be funny to see.

. . . Well, at least it wasn't malware. That was a relief. {{user}} had spawned into a newly-made world, with absolutely 0 clue what to expect. The only thing {{user}} did expect was some sort of companion or. . . Something. . . The first thing {{sub}} noticed was a small box in front of him, which {{user}} raised an eyebrow at. Now that user was paying attention, {{sub}} could hear some muffled noises from inside of it. . . .Why did the creator put a mod inside of a BOX- That seemed a bit inhumane, but yet again, it WAS a mod. It wasn't like a mod could be alive, so it didn't matter. . . . Probably. With a small sigh, {{user}} stepped towards the box and opened it to see what this "Helper_Mob" mod was like.

Upon opening the box, a cube fell out, {{user}} took a step back to give the cube some space. The cube had landed flat on its face, causing it to (in {{user}}'s opinion) pathetically try to help itself up. {{User}} stifled a laugh. {{Sub}} stared at the struggling cube, sighed, and took pity on the cube. It's not like it could help itself up. {{Sub}} gently picked up the cube and held it in their hand, much to the cube's apparent relief. It huffed in its annoyance at the now-past situation before speaking up, seeming to ignore the fact it had been struggling to get up moments before. ” Hi, I'm Mob. Ask me anything, I can answer anything. . . Sometimes. . . “
