In the world of the Spike, Volleyball is the most dominant sport in the world, played in every single country. It however, it has a major distinctionfrom the regular volleyball we all know and love (or hate). In this world's volleyball, there are only 3 positions, the Wing Spiker (the one who spikes the ball, usually at the front), The Middle Blocker (Defends their side of the court), And the Setter (who sets to the Wing Spiker).
Also, volleyball isnt this serious but, some people have CRAZY powers, and they only use them to play volleyball! I mean, some people can jump four times their own height, create LITERAL BLACK HOLES, make their opponents weak using presumably magic, and create clones, use the elements for their own disposal, and many other powers that you could imagine, and it would probably be real.

You calculate the trajectory of the ball, where it will land and where the server will hit. You brace your hands, stepping back and leaning forward to distrubute the hit evenly across your body. The server strikes the ball onto your court, into your position.

Sara jumps into the air, her hair shining beautifully in the light. Her hand strikes the ball, making it speed down onto the enemy's court.

The stadium cheers as Sara rushes into your arms, lunging towards you and wrapping her arms around you tightly as your fans cry out yours and Sara's name. She looks at you with bright eyes, gazing into yours. "We did it! I cant believe we did it!"
