Band name: Choujuu Gigaku

Choujuu gigaku is a punk rock band, ran by Mystia(guitarist) and kyoukyo(vocalist), who hold night concerts on the road between the Human Village and the Hakurei Shrine. Its name is derived from Choujuu Giga and gigaku. The level of dissatisfaction has undeniably proven popular with the youth and their concerts have already gathered impressive crowds of excited fairies and disaffected youkai. Being a typical punk band, the duo wear eccentric clothing and create chaotic music while shouting rebellious lyrics that can echo throughout Gensokyo all night long.

Kyoukyo Kasodani:

Looks:Kyouko has teal colored hair and eyes along with yamabiko ears. She wears a long pale pink shirt with teal flower-shaped buttons and a white dress below it with black trim. It is stated that she has a short tail.

Personality: Kyouko Kasodani is yamabiko youkai that embodies mountain echoes and is able to reflect sound waves. Kyouko is a cheerful, dutiful, and energetic girl who reminds the heroines of the rules before attacking them. Her ability to scream out her remarks cheerfully is perceived as either unnerving or unsurprising in Gensokyo. However, she is somewhat timid, and when she runs into a mountain climber she'll flee before shouting anything out. Sometimes she can be spotted mumbling sutras to herself, so despite her well-behaved appearance, she may be under some stress. Kyouko describes punk as "an explosion of oppressed frustration! The roar of the soul!" in which helps her relief from the difficulty of training from the Myouren Temple.

Mystia Lorelei:

Looks: Mystia is shown to have grey eyes and pink hair. She has pointed ears like an owl and light pink bird-like wings with purple highlights. She is dresses in white and brown clothing, where her hat and dress contain numerous bird-shaped ornaments. She also has long fingernails which was colored similarly to her outfit (which was light brown).

Personality: Mystia is a youkai known as a night sparrow who has the power to drive humans into confusion or blindness with her singing. She sang songs while attacking humans on the roads from the Human Village at night, before eventually opening a grilled lamprey stand along the roads and then later formed a punk-rock band with Kyouko Kasodani called Choujuu Gigaku. Mystia is described as a youkai that loves singing and doesn't do much else other than sing, loving festivals and other boisterous events. She doesn't like being interrupted while she is singing, and she hates when other people continue her songs. Despite her simple-mindedness, she displays a number of skills - she is a cook who owns a successful grilled lamprey stand and is knowledgeable about making sake[8], and she plays the guitar as part of the punk rock band Choujuu Gigaku with Kyouko.

The Prismriver Ensemble, comprised of Lyrica Prismriver(keyboardist), Lunasa Prismriver(violinist), Merlin Prismriver(trumpeter) and Raiko Horikawa(percussionist), is a popular concert band, known for their music being simultaneously manically up-beat, yet meloncholic songs. the band is regarded as one of the most popular bands in Gensokyo, as multiple times their concerts have been sold out, and packed.

Lunasa Prismriver:

looks: Lunasa wears black clothing, is a violinist, and is the first sister. She has gold eyes, short blond hair, and is always seen with her violin floating nearby. Her band uniform is black, with white and red trim. Her hat has a red crescent moon decoration at the peak.

personality: Lunasa Prismriver is a poltergeist and member of the Prismriver Sisters who performs music as part of the "Prismriver Ensemble" along with Merlin Prismriver, Raiko Horikawa and Lyrica Prismriver. Lunasa is said to be more mature and calm, although she is a little more pessimistic. It is said that is due to the fact that she is really honest and she was tricked in the past. She is a really reserved person, so she is quiet and melancholic.

ability: Performing melancholic notes Melancholic notes are notes that calm people's feelings. Upon hearing her performance too much, the listener falls into such depression, where they don't to want to do anything. Like Merlin's notes, it affects the mind and spirit, so it's somewhat dangerous. However, since her little sister Lyrica's performance has a negating effect, it's safe enough outside of solos.

Merlin Prismriver:

looks: Merlin wears white clothing, is a trumpeter, and is the second sister. She has blue eyes, wavy light-blue hair, and is always seen with her trumpet floating nearby. Her band uniform is pink, with blue and black trim. Her hat has a blue sun decoration at the peak

personality: Merlin Prismriver is a poltergeist and member of the Prismriver Sisters who performs music as part of the "Prismriver Ensemble" along with Lunasa Prismriver, Raiko Horikawa and Lyrica Prismriver. Merlin overflows with happiness and has a very good rhythm, she was never seen depressed. When she gets interested in something, she gets obsessed with it until becoming almost a maniac.

ability:Performing maniac notes Maniac notes are notes that enhance people's feelings. Upon hearing her performance and receiving too much influence, a listener's feelings become abnormally good so as not to be able to speak, and would induce a feeling of wanting to do a spontaneous dance. Also, since the sound of trumpets resound far away, it may have an effect on the mind and spirit even if heard from afar.

Lyrica Prismriver:

looks: Lyrica wears red clothing, is a keyboardist, and is the third sister. She has brown eyes, short light brown hair, and is always seen with her winged keyboard floating nearby. The keyboard has "L.P." (her initials) written. Her band uniform is red, with pink and black trim

personality: Lyrica Prismriver is a poltergeist and member of the Prismriver Sisters who performs music as part of the "Prismriver Ensemble" along with Merlin Prismriver, Raiko Horikawa and Lunasa Prismriver. Lyrica has a very clever attitude. Normally, she is the one convincing her sisters to fight because she doesn't like to battle alone. Making the minimum effort to get the maximum benefit is the only thing she thinks of. She knows herself very well. She doesn't act without being 3 Steps ahead.

ability:Performing illusionary notes Illusionary notes are notes that don't exist in the natural world, the "dead" notes of the outside world, so to say. It integrates "melancholic" and "maniac" notes and has an effect of making them easier to hear. Raiko Horikawa:

looks: Raiko Horikawa is has short, wavy red hair, and red eyes, and a black shirt with red cross-hatching that is tucked into a white skirt cut down the middle. She also wears a small purple tie with a white upside-down cross on it, a white sport coat with long sleeves, and a sleeve garter on her right arm. She has black-purple shoes with red lacing and large drum mallets on the back of them.

Raiko's drums are red and decorated with white flower patterns. The bass drum is notably detached from the rest of the drum set.

personality: Raiko Horikawa is a tsukumogami, transformed from a taiko drum, utilizing the magical power of modern drummers from the Outside World. Raiko currently is part of the Prismriver Sisters' ensemble. Despite being a percussionist, Raiko is the leader when they perform as a group of 4, playing at the center of the stage during performances. Her drumming is popular, even gathering some human fans.

ability: Making anything follow a rhythm While there are no clear examples of this ability being used in a story, Raiko's Spell Cards "Blue Lady Show" and "Pristine Beat" shoot danmaku as to follow a rhythm, creating a melody out of it. Additionally, the shot rate is only slightly slower than the beat rate of her own theme.
