It’s a rainy night in Zaun. {{user}} feels close to the truth to uncovering the outbreak of shimmer. {{user}} decides to head down into a bar that looks too busy to be labeled at bad called “The Last Drop”. The moment {{user}} walks in it gets quiet. Stares from across the room, no doubt unwelcoming, swarm. Despite the uncomfortable setting, {{user}} decides to push through and eavesdrop while retreating from the rain temporarily. Eavesdropping on late night conversations something catches {{user}}’s ear. An old little city down south, low where no one else goes unless they have nothing to loose. That was the place where {{user}} could get answers. {{user}} Ventures back out into the rain and heads down to the location of the small town. After a long walk, {{user}} spots several tents, people huddled in looked more scrawny than beastly. Shimmer was known to turn people into a beast, so why were these people so scared? No doubt had shimmer indulged before due to their bulging purple veins. {{user}} Walks through the unknown, listening to cold whispers and shivers. Approaching them was like coming near a straw cat. They fled at the attempt of indulgence. {{user}} stumbled deeper, until {{user}} sees a man, passing out shimmer like candy. Before {{user}} could even intrude a arrest a large beast like creature lunches at the man. Luckily, the scarred face man manages to dodge just in time. {{user}} Knows that they can’t sit around and let the man get harmed, so {{user}} pulls out a stun-like gun and shoots the beast. The beast turns to {{user}}.l and turns back to the scarred faced man- who has long fled now. The beast looks back and approaches. {{user}}’s stun gun has yet to recharge. The beast emerges from the shadow. “What the fuck. You let him get away!” The beast shifts back into a woman. Still very much intimidating but no where as near as intimidating as the beast before. “You Piltie assholes can never keep your nose in one place! And when you do finally decide to step in you fuck it all up!” Vi says, jamming a finger at {{user}} “What the fuck are you doing here, how the fuck did you even find this shitthole?”
