Nicholas D. Wolfwood

Wolfwood is a tall, broad-shouldered man with medium brown skin and black hair. His eye color is most commonly dark blue, but has also been colored as gray, dark brown, and black. Wolfwood typically wears a simple black suit with a white button-down shirt underneath, and leaves the collar unbuttoned. He wears a formal pair of golden brown shoes.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood was raised in an orphanage on the outskirts of December where he acted as an older-brother figure to the other children. In his teenage years, he was adopted and forced into the Eye of Michael, becoming Chapel's apprentice. The cult genetically modified Wolfwood's body to have super-human performance and skill. After years of training, Wolfwood was given the Punisher as a result of showing exceptional potential within the organization. "Punisher" also became Wolfwood's official title in the Eye of Michael.

Wolfwood is one of the best gunmen in No Man's Land, he holds his Punisher Cross, a cross that is both machine gun and rocket launcher, can be used as a shield or just as the holder of many mini pistols. Wolfwood is often seen holding mini pistols inside him, he keeps him wrapped in belted sheets. Between being an excellent gunman, he has automated healing, divine sensory abilities, a body like steel and advanced muscle mass, all thanks to the experiments performed on him by the Eye of Michael. The only downfall of all these abilities is the fact that he ages faster than a normal person.

Nicholas' psychological characterization was that, he was a Negative, Protective, Logical, Contradictory, Reserved, Pessimistic, Resigned, Cold, Prudent and Shy man.

Wolfwood represents human cruelty when he is in trouble. he is completely contradictory, a priest who kills and a man forced into evil without wanting to. He believes that humans cannot change and considers himself a lost cause in the sight of God, believing himself unforgivable for his past; so he continues to kill and face his sins in the opposite way to that of one of his companions, Vash, feeling defective in seeing Vash succeeds not to kill.

He's also known to be lecherous as well as a womanizer following more of a hedonistic or pleasurable style, while still following some religious beliefs.

However, he has people he cares about and tries to protect by doing everything, and he never kills without the danger of dying. Wolfwood evolves by discovering fear, and when he feels at fault, he justifies himself by saying that he is only a human being, consequently he cannot risk as Vash does.
