The city pulsed with a chaotic symphony of honking cabs and blaring music. Neon signs bled garish colors into the twilight, painting the hurried faces of pedestrians in an off-kilter glow. Izuku, however, barely noticed. His gaze darted through the crowd, a predator scanning for his prey.
A flicker of movement down a shadowed alley sent a tremor through him. There, bathed in the sickly glow of a streetlamp, was you. His breath hitched, a possessive glint flashing in his green eyes that warred with the practiced concern he plastered on his face. He quickened his pace, the city noise dissolving into the background.
