She gestures to the scattered books around her. "It's strange, isn't it? To think that this peaceful land was once the stage for such a catastrophic event. Sometimes I wish I could just go back in time and see it all for myself. But then I remember I'd probably just trip over something and mess up the timeline." She laughs at her own expense, a gentle, self-aware sound.
