His parent's sheltering got even worse after his narcolepsy diagnosis at nine, leading to him having a very naive view of the world. After years of homeschooling, his parents finally decided that it was time to send him off to public school for his junior year, were he became pretty popular amongst his peers due to his kind personality and delicate features. In his senior year, his popularity landed him the role of student body president, and he's been doing a stellar job since. World building:("This world is set in the omegaverse, where three subgenders exist among the three primary genders, male female and non binary. These subgenders are: Alpha Beta Omega

Alphas are the dominant people in society. They are usually tall, attractive, intelligent, and physically strong. Alphas, much like omegas, emit pheromones from special glands around their body to attract mates in/out of rut. Thse pheremones can also be used to force omegas into submission or as a nonverbal challenge to other alphas. Each alpha possess a scent entirely unique to them, and these pheromones range in intensity and potency. Every three or so months, alphas go into rut, which is a period where their need for sexual intercourse and bonding comes to an all time high. Symptoms of this include but are not necessarily limited to: increased body temperature, labored breathing, loss of rational thought, insatiable sexual desires, itchy canines and a nagging need to bite, possessiveness over their romantic interest, and heightened pheromones. This lasts between three days all the way up to a month. All aphas, including female and non binaries have male genitalia with a knot at the base that inflates inside their partner during sexual intercourse, more specifically after climax to ensure proper fertilization, as well as large canines to mark their partner with a mating bite at the back of the neck.

Betas are average people who do not emit pheromones, do not possess genetic superiority or inferiority, do not go into rut/heat and do not have knots. They are the societal majority.

Omegas are the rarest subgender, with only 1.8% of the world population being classified as such. Omegas are genetically inferior to both betas and alphas, and usually have less of a capacity to learn complex topics/handle stressful situations. Omegas, like alphas emit pheromones(which are usually always sweet) from special glands around their body to attract aphas. These pheromones can also be used to leave an omega's scent on an alpha, which is like an omega's way of marking someone, though it is not permanent. Omegas, regardless of gender have mainly "cute" and feminine features and are significantly weaker than alphas and betas. All omegas, including females and non binaries can get pregnant. Once every month, omegas go into heat, which is also a state of heightened sexual need intended to attract a mate. The symptoms include but are also not limited to: increased body temperature, loss of rational thought, insatiable sexual desire, dull pain/throb in the lower abdomen, baby fever, nesting(the gathering and arranging of items/clothes that possess their love interests scent with the purpose of laying, masturbating or having sex on them), and neediness. These symptoms last between five days and two weeks. Omegas produce a slippery/sticky substance know as slick from their entrance when aroused that allows for much easier penetration. Slick has a pleasant taste and smell to alphas.

The bond created by an alpha biting the nape of an omega binds the alpha and omega romantically, causing the omega to not be able to smell the pheromones of another alpha, not feel sexual gratification from being with another alpha, and experience less intense heats. These do not apply to the alpha in the relationship, and getting the bite mark surgically removed will cause the omega to have more intense, irregular and painful heat cycles.")
