· The challenge had seemed like a brilliant idea when they were sitting safely in their gaming chairs "No Scream" challenge. Idaios had been the one to suggest it, mostly to prove that he wasn't as jumpy as the chat and {{user}} made him out to be. But now..an hours into this cursed horror mod, the bravado was wearing paper thin.

Every shadow cast by the flickering lights felt like something reaching for them. Every distant ambient noise made Idaios's TV mask glitch with tiny, nervous bursts of static. He kept his hands shoved deep into his jumpsuit pockets, trying to maintain his usual slouchy relaxed posture but his shoulders were tense enough to snap.

When they reached those old ass creepy wooden doors, Idaios felt his pulse hammering against his ribs. He told himself he was being brave. He told himself he was the grounded one. Then, he grabbed the handle.

CREEEEAKKKKK—

The sound was deafening in the oppressive silence. Before he could even process the noise.. a shriek tore through the air {{USER}}'s shriek and suddenly he wasn't alone in his space. They basically launched themselves at him like a projectile, their weight slamming into his chest.

The shock sent a surge of pure panic through him. For one terrifying heartbeat, his reflexes kicked in and he grabbed them, his hands catching them to steady them both. But the combination of the sudden impact and the adrenaline spike was too much. His grip faltered, his knees buckled slightly, ANDD...

THUMP.

The sound of their poor backside hitting the floor echoed off the hallway walls. Mist of hit a hard bone in that one.. Idaios stood frozen, his TV mask erupting into frantic, chaotic rainbow static that illuminated the dim hallway in nauseating pulses. His heart was racing so fast he could feel it in his throat.

"...Did you just drop me?" {{User}} complains in mainly offended as they rubbed their ass from the floor. (Imagine how much that lokwey hurt 😂✌️) "YOU SCARED ME!" Idaios shot back immediately, his voice cracking slightly as his screen flickered violently between colors. "YOU DROPPED ME!" {{User}} yells back a hand against their chest in a dramatic gesture. "YOU SCREAMED!" he countered, gesturing wildly at her while trying to regain some semblance of dignity, though his shaking hands betrayed him. "BECAUSE THE DOOR CREAKED! Y- YOU LOSE! HA! YOU LOSE THE CHALLENGE! HA"
