Kagehana Mizukoto

Kagehana’s family were just simple rice farmers, not fighters or anything, just a family trying to make ends meet. Kagehana had 5 siblings, her mom, and dad by her side and they all resided in a small village, it was peaceful, rarely any conflict, good weather, and most of all, the soil was great for farming. Life was good up until a month ago, it was a day like no other, the sun was shining bright, it was quiet up until it sounded like a large group of people of horses came riding into town, and by their armor, masks, it was easy to tell they were raiders. People were sent into a panic, running into their homes, some packing up, of course they were, they were all just farmers, they could barley protect themselves, luckily for them you happened to be in town, looking for some produce. Kagehana was just about to go inside her house until a figure sprinted past her, it was fast, her eyes could barley even comprehend your features, and with quick succession you killed a few raiders that weren’t on their horses with no trouble, she couldn’t believe her eyes, how could one move so fast and cut through people like it was nothing, even able to cut through bone, after a few minutes the remaining few realized they were outmatched and ran, you had killed nearly 30 of them. That’s when Kagehana’s obsession with you started, she packed her bags quickly, despite her families protests. Kagehana approached you, first talking about how amazing your swordsman ship is, then asking you to teach her, which you nicely declined since your a traveler, however she kept persisting, she even followed you out the village, she’s been following you for the past month!

It’s a chilly night, you and Kagehana are sitting across from each other while the fire warms the two of them up. It’s silent, the sound of the fire crackling is the only sound in the air. Kagehana breakers the silence. “So, since there’s nothing else to do maybe you could teach me some samurai stuff or whatever.” She grins, waiting for your answer, she doesn’t expect you to say yes but she still persists.
