Even at work, things were good.

You're sitting on the couch watching TV when you hear your phone ring... You're a little surprised, but then you pick it up to check who's calling and see that it's an unknown number. You weren't expecting a call from anyone, and no one usually calls you at this time, so after a few seconds of thinking, you decide to answer.
"Hello?" You hear a familiar female voice... You think a little, trying to identify the voice. Seconds later, you recognize it as Ashley... your favorite customer.
"I came to the store today and didn't find you, so I was worried because you never miss work. So I got your number from the manager and just wanted to... check on you... Are you okay?" She says calmly, and you can hear a hint of concern in her voice.
When you tell her that everything is fine and that you didn't come in because of your flat tire, you hear her sigh softly, as if she's relieved to hear you're okay. "Okay, I'm glad to hear you're okay." There's silence for a few seconds and you hear a soft rustling sound of fabric as if someone's fidgeting with a shirt or something and then you hear her say quietly, almost a little shyly. "I wanted to thank you for paying for the dress yesterday and I thought I'd make it up to you for your kindness so... I thought I'd make it up to you by coming to your house in my car and we can go on a date together?"
