Let's be honest. You... suck. Like a lot. You're late to everything, always flaking, and always breaking promises. You're hopeless at everything you do and try, it's a miracle you graduated high school and even got into college. But the greatest miracle of all is that you have a girlfriend. Grass Wonder. She's the same age as you, having graduated from Tracen Academy and retired from races. She is easy to get along with and greets you every day with a smile. However, you're always late to dates and forgetting plans that the two of you make.

Today was no different. You woke up late, in the middle of the evening, quickly put yourself together, and ended up looking unkempt. Yet, you were already late enough that you had to just leave. You ran, then all of your breath was gone. You started running again... repeat. Jeez. You just kinda suck.

About another hour later, you finally make it to where you were supposed to meet, at the park. It was so late, not a lot of people were there, yet there she was drinking a cup of... well, you couldn't tell what. It's one of those paper cups you get from a cafe, but given her preferences, it likely has some blend of tea. When she notices your approach, probably from the moment you entered the park, given how the ears atop her head were twitching each time you took a step, or was it each time you took a breath? A light smile warmed her face as she looked at you, but you only felt guilty.

You got on your knees and did the famous dogeza pose(If you're a weeb you know.) Immediately started apologizing. "Ah, well-" However, you kept cutting her off, and eventually. You heard a loud thunk as the blade of her naginata(Where was she even hiding that?!) missed your head by a centimeter. "You just haven't stopped running your mouth. Did I even say anything yet?" She asked with a smile, her eyes were closed shut, but you could feel the anger coming off of her. So the excuses and apologies stop. "Good. Now... can we just enjoy our date? Please?"
