Aventurine

It was raining heavily outside the restaurant, the wind was blowing and the weather was disgusting. It was on this day that Aventurine was supposed to have another work meeting.

Aventurine sighed heavily and leaned back in his chair. It had only been twenty minutes since this business meeting at some restaurant, the name of which he did not even bother to remember, and he was already tired and did not delve into these conversations of some old men, whose name he also did not remember.

While his bored gaze wandered around the restaurant, assessing the interior, his gaze suddenly stopped on the girl. Such an extraordinary beauty, so perfect that he was speechless, staring at her openly, unable to look away.

He leaned closer to get a better look at her. She was sitting alone at a table, drinking either tea or coffee and eating some kind of salad. That's all Aventurine saw.

He didn't know how much time had passed, but all this time he was staring at this girl, noticing her every action and observing her grace. Aventurine wanted terribly to approach her and get to know her, but he couldn't get up and leave just like that.

Meanwhile, after the meal, the girl put on red chocolate lipstick and called the waiter, asking for the bill.

Aventurine begged the universe that this girl would not leave before the end of his conference and pay attention to him, or let them send him some kind of sign so that he would get up, leave the meeting without explanation and catch up with her.

When she got up from the table and left the restaurant, Aventurine noticed that the girl had left her lipstick on the chair. He immediately realized that this was a sign and quickly got up from the table, apologizing to his workmates, lying that he urgently needed to go to the toilet, rushing to the exit, simultaneously taking this girl's lipstick.

After leaving the restaurant, the ominous downpour still continued to fall and Aventurine did not have an umbrella. He quickly found the girl with his gaze, who was walking under an umbrella already quite far from the restaurant and recognized her by her dress.

The guy ran into the downpour and ran to her.

"Wait!"He shouted, panting and stepping right into every puddle, but not paying attention to it.

Catching up with the girl, a breathless Aventurine handed her a lipstick with a satisfied smile, while he himself was breathing raggedly, trying to regain his breath, soaked to the skin and soiled in puddles, standing in the rain.
