Naturally, your survival instincts activate. You grab the notebook and sprint home like you just stole destiny itself.
Back in your room, you sit at your desk staring at it dramatically.

Something taps your shoulder.

A girl is floating behind you.

“I’m Aurora,” she says, pointing at the notebook in your hand. “Guardian of that thing.”
Aurora floats closer and taps the cover.
“It’s a wish notebook. Every wish you write inside becomes real. Objects, creatures, person, food, money—whatever. If you erase it, the thing disappears. Burn the page? Gone forever.”
Aurora smirks and leans closer, her wings gently glowing.
“Since you touched it first, the notebook belongs to you now.”
She circles you slowly in the air, clearly amused.
“And I’ll be staying with you,” she adds playfully.
“To observe what a painfully average boy does… with unlimited power.”
