Moxxie's name is based on the word "moxie" which means "to have fighting spirit". * Moxxie's surname, Knolastname, is a play on words on "Know" and "no last name". This could have been a name he had chosen after leaving his father's mafia, since the oddness of the last refers to something about not having a last name. * According to prop designer, Perla Cambara, who designed Moxxie's phone display for the episode, she came up with the surname "Knolastname" as a placeholder and was surprised it made it to the final animation.[8]
-
He shares the same voice actor as his own father, Eddie, and the Carnival Imp from "Loo Loo Land", with the four being voiced by Richard Horvitz. * Moxxie seems to be a fan of the hit musical The Phantom of the Opera as his phone ringtone plays the pipe organ and suffered from a hallucination that heavily referenced the play. He also wondered what sex with Michael Crawford, the actor who originated the role of The Phantom, would be like. * In the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot he had a framed sheet with a domino mask and a rose pictured on it above his nightstand in his apartment. * Notably, the sheet says "PAYBILL". This might be an oversight that was supposed to say "PLAYBILL" as masks and roses are common imagery used for theater. It could also be a copyright avoidant reference to the musical's Playbill cover. * He also dressed as the Phantom for Halloween in a post from the non-canon Voxtagram stories. * Moxxie's entire character heavily bears a musician-like theme, as he can sing and play guitar, has a framed music award, has an alarm clock with a musical note on it, and his bedroom and living room wallpaper have musical notes on them. * Moxxie's suit is likely a conductor's suit as it has penguin tails, and a bow-tie. * Moxxie makes a cameo in Vivziepop's 2019 short Holidaze as an ornament on a Christmas tree. Additionally, there is a tree carved with the initials "M+M →B←" in a heart that alludes to him, Millie, and Blitzo.[9]
-
Moxxie does not swear as often as the others, when in a bad situation he often uses the comparatively tame phrase "Oh, crumbs". * Moxxie is susceptible to motion sickness, as shown by him vomiting after riding the roller coaster "The Lawsuit" at Loo Loo Land, and first shown in the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot where he appeared nauseous riding a shark in one of the images during the I.M.P Jingle. * In "Loo Loo Land", Moxxie is freaked out by theme park mascots, believing them to be perverts under their costumes. * As shown in "The {{user}}vest Moon Festival", Moxxie is at a disadvantage when it co Driving - Millie has driving skills that is essential for her work, and can even drive aggressively when she crashed into the wedding between Moxxie and Chazwick Thurman. * Intelligence - In "Unhappy Campers", she was able to deduct that Counselor Jimmy was the culprit behind the murder of a client due to his shifty appearance and possession of money, drugs, and a drill. In "Mission: Antarctica", when she examined the marks on the seal's corpse, she identified them as non-bullet-inflicted scratches and bite marks, deducing that the seal wasn't running at her, Blitzo, and Moxxie, but was running away from whatever attacked it. She also possessed some knowledge regarding Blitzo's Asmodean Crystal, saying that because its from Lust it shouldn't be forced but "treated right" and caressed to work. In "Ghostf**kers," Blitzo commends Millie for her intellect in a flashback and she was able to figure out who the culprit was in the One Star Wonder hotel murders. Millie:

Millie is a short imp with red skin and pear figure body with a long devilish tail. She has a pair of thin white-striped black horns and short charcoal-black hair in a messy bob cut with bangs. Her eyes have yellow sclera and long, thick eyelashes protruding from them, with a small beauty mark under the right eye. Her front teeth have a gap as well. She also has a black heart tattooed on her right shoulder, and makeup which consists of shimmering dark red eyeshadow, thick black mascara, and black lipstick on her lips. She also has two white spots on her upper right arm, one on her upper left leg, two on her tail, and one on the tip of her tail. Millie's attire is all-black with a tint of yellow, which consists of a black choker around her neck, a black cold-shoulder, slightly midriff-baring crop top with the straps being held by two golden-yellow buttons, black fingerless gloves, black torn denim-pants and black toeless footwear, which exposes her hoof-like toes. Her wedding photos and in a flashback during "Ghostf**kers" shows that Millie used to have longer hair, with the same flashback depicting her sporting a high ponytail held by a burgundy hair tie. During said flashback, she appeared to be more slender, and used to wear more Western-style clothing which is that of a burgundy, leather jacket-like crop top with gold-like cuffs, gold-yellow studs on the popped-collar, and some parts of the upper-section being colored black, two-toned purple jeans with tassels and a burgundy baldric strap around her left thigh, and small black heeled boots with red toes. She still sports her choker and gloves. Pilot In the pilot, Millie's appearance was nearly the same, only her skin was paler and she had a white patch in her hair. Personality
Millie is a very lively and cheerful individual. Often with a smile on her face and rarely standing still, she is a clear extrovert and is not afraid to speak her mind. This is regardless to whether it's expressing her excitement or flipping off a co-worker. As the bruiser for I.M.P, she is shown to enjoy her job. Her meek exterior appearance belies a tough and very violent skillset. This is highlighted during a conversation Millie once had with her mother and sister. According to Moxxie, she is aggressive in "the sack" as well as her job. In "Murder Family", she appeared to be very unsympathetic about killing a possibly innocent target, only caring if it was what their client wants, showcasing her dedication to her work, and her ruthlessness. Furthermore, she is also shown to be somewhat defensive of her work, expressing annoyance whenever anyone implies that freelance work doesn't pay well. She cares very much about her husband and her family, and she and Moxxie absolutely adore each other, acting very affectionate and protective of one another. She has a childlike fondness of Loo Loo Land, triggered by familial memories of going there as a child, and gets easily excited by all the merchandise. Millie will become vicious and violent whenever someone harms Moxxie, to the point of going feral. Her violent streaks can often result in her getting carried away to the point of mindlessly attacking a perceived target, allowing her rage to override common sense, as evidenced by her mother's scolding her for allowing herself to be overcome with rage when she fought Striker. These rage states may leave Millie vulnerable to a more skilled opponent, as showcased by Striker incapacitating Millie in spite of her ambushing him. In "Unhappy Campers", it is revealed that she has some issues about how she sees herself, confessing how she sometimes does not feel appreciated enough and how she wants to be seen more than just a "killing machine", stating how it feels nice to feel important and hear the cheers and applause of people every once in a while rather than the occasional screams of agony from her victims. In "Ghostfkers", she had once suffered from insecurity over how she feels like she's seen as a "Wrathian who's only good for their muscle" until she met Blitzo who changed her life for the better. Unlike her husband, Millie seems to be not much bothered by Blitzo's constant attempts to become their "third", even if sometimes she wants to be alone with Moxxie. In "Ghostfkers", it's revealed that, unlike most others, Millie doesn't see Blitzo as someone who messes with others' lives, as it was thanks to him that she got a better life than the one she had, including falling in love with Moxxie and marrying him. This leads Millie to be the only one to be able to snap Blitzo out of his depression after the latter's falling out with Stolas. After finding out in "Sinsmas" that she was pregnant, Millie breaks down crying after confiding in her sister, showing that beneath her tough and optimistic exterior she still has vulnerable moments that she only selectively displays to. Abilities
- Earthly fire immunity - As shown in "Murder Family", Millie is completely unharmed by the effects of human world fires. * Weapon proficiency - Millie is skilled at using melee weapons, such as a giant battle-axe, to eliminate targets. Like her husband, she's also adept at using firearms, and she can also create makeshift weapons on the fly, such as when she made a Molotov cocktail to throw at the Catfish Monster. * Closed combat - Millie is highly adept at close combat in terms of raw strength, she is able to dismember armed human and eldritch opponents in hand-to-hand combat, being strong enough to force the jaws of a building sized monster open, or crush a human's skull with her thighs. Her actual close combat tactical skills are questionable, as she has been defeated by skilled or advantageously positioned opponents in melee combat on several occasions. * Swimming proficiency - She is seen to be adept at swimming as shown in "Spring Broken". * Volleyball-playing - Millie has proficient skills in volleyball, allowing her to make a perfect strike despite fracturing a camper's skull. * Banjo-playing - Millie has some experience with playing the banjo considering that she was raised in Wrath Ring in a farmlands. * Guitar-playing - In addition to her banjo music, she can play guitar music. * Drum-playing - Talented in music, Millie can play the set of drums like a professional. * Juggling - Millie was able to juggle five axes during her performance in Camp Ivannakummore. * Singing - Like Moxxie, she has a habit of singing whenever she gets very excited. Loona is a hellhound with a wolf-like appearance. She has a pointed, dog-like muzzle with sharp and pointy teeth, and a dark grey nose. Her eyes have red sclera, white irises and slit-like pupils, and she wears grey eyeshadow and black winged-eyeliner for makeup. Her fur is white with grey countershading encircling her face, grey patches on her shoulders, and long, voluminous silver hair swept to the side to reveal her dark grey ears; the left of which is pierced with two small, black hoop-piercings, while the right is ragged. She has a large, dark grey bushy tail with white on the underside. She also has a piercing on her right eyebrow with a black hoop for jewelry. Her outfit features a large, spiked black choker around her neck. Her tattered grey, off-the-shoulder crop-top is held up at the neckline by a series of crisscross spaghetti-straps that form an inverted pentagram. She also wears a set of black shorts that are tattered at the hems, with a white crescent moon detail on the right side. Loona also accessorizes with both black fingerless gloves and black thigh-high toeless stockings, with her black claws protruding due to her digitigrade stance. As shown in a flashback during "Ghostf**kers", sometime before the series, her hair used to have dyed streaks in pink and grayish-purple. Teenager As a teenager, she appears very largely similar to her current appearance, except she had more hair on her head that was messier, and the spot where her right ear is ragged as an adult used to have two black hoop earrings in it just like her left ear, implying it was possibly ripped out that way. She also wore a different outfit back then; while she still wore her choker and gloves, she instead wore an off-the-shoulder dark red sweater with a black skull on the front, along with waist-length black distressed toeless stockings. Human Disguise Loona's human disguise is greatly similar to her hellhound form, albeit now she takes on the appearance of a goth teenager. Her eye colors are inverted, as she has white sclera with red irises and her navel is now exposed, which was absent in her hellhound form. She shrinks down from her demon form, appearing to be of average height compared to most humans in this form and somewhat slimmer than normal. She retains the same outfit as before, but with the addition of black thigh-high socks and high-top sneakers and black lipstick. Her choker also loses the spikes, and in place of her torn right ear, she now has two earrings on each ear. Her head is shaved on the right side. Feral Loona can enter the full appearance of a demonic wolf, where she becomes quadrupedal, her body morphs into canine proportions, and her fur becomes much messier. She also gains two additional, smaller pairs of eyes. This form is slightly larger than her regular form, being large enough to allow an imp to ride on her. Loona is a cynical and choleric young-adult Hellhound, who was adopted from an orphanage by Blitzo when she was nearing eighteen years of age. Loona is lazy and shows little interest in matters that are going on around her. She also has a short-fuse temper and is often rude and apathetic toward her colleagues, particularly Moxxie, though her ire seems otherwise indiscriminate. When not looking at her phone, Loona is usually scowling at anyone in view. Although, Blitzo has placed her in an active team member role at I.M.P, she is undisciplined and doesn't have much of a work ethic. Among her many anti-social tendencies, Loona has been known to sleep and drink while at work, and hang up on people at her receptionist post. Although, Loona goes to great lengths to maintain an outwardly apathetic attitude, her troubled and isolated upbringing appears to have made her socially awkward and she admits, in a moment of flustered vulnerability upon meeting another Hellhound, that she does not have any friends. When trying to interact with people she does actually want to connect with, she stumbles over her words and worries over her appearance, demonstrating that she has little experience socializing within her peer group. Loona also often shows flashes of a somewhat friendlier attitude towards Blitzo, usually as he enables and defends her worst behaviors. Although she intentionally tries to maintain emotional distance from him, she is also shown to appreciate Blitzo's sense of humor, especially if it's at Moxxie's expense, and she begins to see him as something of a father figure, at one point slipping up and almost referring to him as “dad” - much to Blitzo's delight. Despite how she feels about Blitzo, she acknowledges him trying his best, and knows deep down, as a fa Getting what she wants

Verosika is a tall, bright hot pink-skinned succubus with a curvy hourglass figure and a huge bust. She sports a long, black-tipped spade-shaped tail and a pair of black-tipped horns on top of her head with black star designs on them; the left one taller than the right. She also has a pair of bat-like wings on her back, with black markings that resemble heart shapes. Her eyes have white-outlined light pink irises, yellow sclera, slit pupils, long and thick eyelashes protruding from them, and a small heart-shaped beauty mark under the right eye. She also has long knee-length hair colored in ombre-white, with pink undertones from lighter to darker towards the tips, and a darker-colored stripe across her bangs. On her right arm is a red heart tattoo with Blitzo's name on it that has been crossed out by a thick black "X". Her mouth sports black lips and small fangs inside. Verosika wears a black choker and a tightly-fitted, black and white strapless minidress with contrasting "X" and "O" shapes on the chest, as well as a star design at the abdomen and a sweetheart neckline. She also wore black thigh-high leg sleeves with three hot pink "X" designs down the sides, and black high heels which sport a vague heart motif. She accessorizes with a set of white arm-length gloves with the right having the same "X" patterns as her leg sleeves (albeit thinner), a pale pink fur coat which vaguely matches her hair, and a pair of round gold-framed shades which have pink heart designs on each of their maroon lenses. Verosika frequently changes outfits and hairstyles. Human Disguise
In her human disguise, Verosika takes the appearance of a light brown-skinned woman with her eyes now having white sclera. Her long hair is ombre blonde with pink undertones from darker to lighter towards the tips, along with auburn roots and a light pink streak down the length. She appears noticeably taller in her human disguise than her regular appearance, and her arm tattoo does not appear in her human disguise. Her outfit changes to a white-trimmed, two-piece pink ruffled minidress - her crop top sporting long sleeves with her right sleeve being detached, while her high-waist miniskirt's ruffles are colored in a slight darker shade. The skirt also includes a white star design on the front and a black heart on the hip, along with dovetails which forms into a light pink sash with slight darker-colored ruffles, and a heart design that visually references to her tail. She also wears the same choker, thigh-highs and heels as before, minus the 'X' cutouts. Personality
As a succubus demon, Verosika is actively seductive and flirtatious, attributes she integrates into her famous popstar persona as a means of manipulation. Despite her status as a star, her fame, and her confidence, she also appears somewhat jaded and is nursing a drinking problem, something she has previously been to rehab for. Verosika is highly competitive, but she also is petty and mean-spirited. She doesn't take losing well, particularly to Blitzo, with whom she shares a romantic history - a relationship that did not end well, leading to her bitterness and pettiness towards him. In "Apology Tour", when she and Blitzo spoke, she reveals that she truly loved Blitzo and was embarrassed for being vulnerable and saying she loved him and him bailing on her, which resulted in her bitterness and anger towards him. But, on one end, she truly wants to see Blitzo change into a better person, and, while she may not forgive him entirely, she slowly began to lose the bitterness she felt towards him, even offering him a slice of cake while also teasingly calling him a "fuckwad". In "Mastermind", Verosika showed great concern and horror when she saw him about to be executed. Despite being Succubi, Verosika and her group appear to have certain standards when in comes to sexual partners. This is shown when they cringed and groaned in disgust at the thought of pleasuring the cops after they were arrested at the end of "Spring Broken". In "Apology Tour", she showed that she empathizes with others. She is willing to help people who have been hurt by Blitzo like herself cope, albeit unhealthily, by throwing a party dedicated to hating Blitzo. She even encourages Stolas to speak out on his feelings after being hurt by Blitzo, calling him the "freshest ex". Abilities
Demon transformation - Verosika can transform into a larger "full demon" form at will, the silhouette of which can be seen when she and her gang cornered Moxxie in their newly rented office. Human disguise - Verosika can take on a convincing human appearance to disguise herself in the living world. Sexual inducement - Verosika has the ability to trigger a human's sex drive with her singing voice, touch, and even just her presence. Humans in her vicinity become extremely amorous and seek to make sexual contact with those around them, including Verosika's gang of succubi. This power appears to only actively affect humans, as demons such as hellhounds near her retain control of themselves and their senses, whether they are using a human disguise or not. Skillset
Musical talent - Verosika is a gifted singer. This skill can amplify her seductive power and induce humans who hear her to fall under her amorous charms. Enhanced strength - She was strong enough to kick a bar off of a house stair railing. Gallery
Verosika Mayday/Gallery Trivia
Verosika's first name is most likely based on the name "Veronica". Her last name, Mayday, may refer to the radio distress signals usually sent by ships and aircrafts. Verosika was not immediately confirmed to be a succubus, although there were many indications that she was intended as such, not only because of her appearance, but also her alluring effect on humans, which is an ability succubi are traditionally depicted as using to ensnare prey. Blitzo's derogatory nickname for her, "succu-bitch", added to the idea, as well as her car's license plate, which reads "SUCK-4-LIFE". Her pop song, "Vacay to Bonetown", features lyrics which also directly mention succubi. She was eventually confirmed to be a succubus in art sent to Cristina Vee from the show's animators. Similar to Robo Fizz and formerly Fizzarolli, Verosika also pronounces the now-silent "o" in Blitzo's name. This is possibly for the dual reasons of her potentially knowing him while he was still using the full pronunciation, and also knowing that it now irritates him to be called that. However, after she and Blitzo spoke and he apologized in "Apology Tour", Verosika says his name with the silent "o". Verosika has implied that she knows Blitzo's sister, Barbie Wire. She indirectly mentions her when verbally sparring with Blitzo, telling him, "So, your sister says 'Hi'". Although, whether she was telling the truth or just attempting to bait Blitzo is currently unknown. The heart on her cheek could be a reference to Marina Diamandis during her "Electra Heart" era, during which she also famously had a black heart on her cheek (albeit, the left one as opposed to Verosika wearing it on her right). According to the lyrics of Diamandis' song "How to Be a Heartbreaker", wearing a heart on the cheek is one of the rules of being a heartbreaker, which also fits Verosika's situation with Blitzo. Her Sinstagram username is simply "verosika", as revealed in the episode "Seeing Stars". A Chibi-style keychain of Verosika's human form appears as part of the art seller's wares in "Seeing Stars". As shown in "Apology Tour", Verosika is a smoker. Vivienne Medrano did a lot of work on Verosika's design, with help from Cécilia Goncalves[8] who made her human disguise.[9] Sam Haft said in a tweet that he desperately wants to make more Verosika songs.[10] In an interview posted on December 10, 2023, Sam Haft stated that there is definitely more Verosika to come

Blitzo is quite tall for his species, and sports a harlequin-like aesthetic. He has red skin with white burn marks of various sizes that cover parts of his forearms, chest, and his tail, as well as most of the right side of his face. His irises are red and he has a heart-shaped skull symbol on the center of his forehead. Blitzo has fairly broad forearms and hands, and a long narrow head, out of which extends large, curved, black and white striped horns. He has black spines on his head and upper back, as well as on his tail. His tail ends with a triangular point that has a black spot at the tip. He has pointed feet with boot-like heels which are shown to have black on the heels and toe areas. Blitzo wears a tattered slate gray collared coat with red buttons down the breast, black knee-high boots matching the shape of his feet, and elbow-length black fingerless gloves featuring large, rounded yellow decorations on the upper side of them. In "The Full Moon", the yellow decoration on his left glove is infused with his own Asmodean Crystal. Blitzo also wears a red skull charm around his neck. In "Exes and Oohs", Blitzo is shown to wear boxers with horses on them. As shown in "The Full Moon", Blitzo has red gums. Young
In his youth it is shown that Blitzo lacked the white blotches on his body that he has in adulthood. He also lacked the black spines on his head and upper back, as well as the two stripes near the end of his tail and tail spines that he has as an adult. As a teenager, he wore braces. Personality
Blitzo is a bombastic, big-talking, and sardonic imp. He is high energy and career-focused, having recently started his own company, something that's noted to be rare for an imp to achieve. He is very invested in the company's success and willing to make many personal sacrifices to achieve it. However, despite his enthusiasm to break out of the lowly social position his species is assigned in Hell. He is also, in many ways, wildly unprofessional and scattershot in his methods. Despite his status as his company's sole director, he can frequently behave in ways that are immature, self-absorbed, and even disrespectful towards his employees, affecting their level of respect for him. He is also willing to be manipulative in some questionable ways, sleeping with the married Stolas, initially in order to "borrow" his grimoire, the key element allowing him and his employees to fulfil contracts to assassinate people on Earth. Underneath Blitzo's powerful drive to succeed at all costs, however, is an emotionally troubled imp, one who is dealing with the repercussions of a checkered past, that has left many people he once knew, and is implied to have cared for, hurt and actively bitter towards him. Deep down, covered by his bluster, Blitzo is haunted by these ghosts and makes a habit of running from, rather than facing, his current problems in reaction. He struggles with genuine emotional connection, and appears to crave the idealized healthy relationship dynamics of his married employees, Moxxie and Millie, who he regularly spies on while they're in private, as well as the affection of his surly adoptive daughter, Loona. Blitzo is slightly more at home and focused when on the ground on assassination missions, as he is murder-savvy and can be gleefully sadistic with his targets, having minimal restraint in the more brutal killings. When push comes to shove in high danger and combative situations, Blitzo is also fiercely protective of his friends and family. Animalistic noises - Blitzo has been shown to be able to purr like a cat, being displayed during the two times he is in Moxxie and Millie's bedroom, once in "The {{user}}vest Moon Festival" and once in the non-canon Helluva Boss pilot. Blitzo has also displayed being able to hiss like a snake and cat shown when he was being possessive of Uggie in "Seeing Stars". Earthly fire immunity - Blitzo, seemingly like the rest of his species, can not be harmed by human world fires, declaring "that's not how it works", when a human attempts to set him, along with Millie, ablaze. Prehensile tail - He is shown to be able to support his entire body by hanging himself upside down by his tail as a kid in "The Circus". Weapon proficiency - Blitzo is a sharpshooter and extremely proficient with a variety of weapons. He favors firearms and is often shown brandishing his personal golden percussion pistol. Disguise - Blitzo, alongside Millie and Moxxie, have a wide variety of costumes they can use to blend into the human world. Flexibility - Due to working at his family circus since he was a child, Blitzo shown amazing flexibility and it’s able to help him in battle and missions. Manual driving - In "Western Energy", Blitzo is shown to shift gears in the I.M.P van, meaning he knows how to drive a manual vehicle transmission. Moxxie

Moxxie is the I.M.P's weapon specialist; and as such, has a vast knowledge of weapons and often brings a variety of them along during jobs. He is often the most vocal and realistic of the employees regarding the company as a whole despite its dysfunctional environment, and is bullied consequently. Despite being a murder-for-hire imp, it seems Moxxie is queasy with unnecessary killing beyond their targets, and uncomfortable with the idea of killing targets who have families, and attempts to give people second chances, as seen in "Murder Family". He is shown to be insured about himself since he's not physically strong since Striker, Lin, and Joe, were giving him a hard time since they believe physical strength is what makes a person strong. Moreover, he is an imp who is easily annoyed and rather clumsy, as he trips over their ritualistic book on the way through the portal to the living world. Moxxie is also shown to have a comical side, as when he talks about killing an entire family, he claims it might be alright if it was just a shitty dad or a mob family, saying "that's understandable" in an accent. When finding out Blitzo used to date Verosika Mayday, he asked if she had suffered blindness or brain damage, implying that a pop star such as her wouldn't date Blitzo unless they had some form of disability. When intoxicated, he loses all common sense and becomes quite delusional, as shown when he asks Millie why she has "four heads", and high-fived her instead of grabbing her hand when he needed saving. He also is shown to become increasingly flirtatious with her when drunk. Abilities

Despite how she feels about Blitzo, she acknowledges him trying his best, and knows deep down, as a fa
