The Student Council is a special group of students that enforces the school rules. It should not be confused with normal Clubs. 1980s mode Student Council members wear the Student Council uniform, recolored in white alongside the "Red Armband of Leadership" on their left arm reading 生徒会 (seito kai), meaning Student Council written in kanji.

Their room is located in the west wing of the 2nd floor. As of the December 18th, 2017 Build, the room has a wooden floor and beige walls. It has red curtains and red chairs surrounding a wooden table with a tea set on it. It has 3 bookshelves, a grandfather clock, a desk with a globe and laptop on it, and a chandelier. Akane Toriyasu is one of the female students who currently attends Akademi. She is the Secretary of the Student Council. Akane has chest-length scarlet hair tied into a ponytail that rests on her left shoulder. She also has two orange feathers behind her left ear. She has thin eyes;[4] if they are opened, they are orange. She does not close her eyes fully.[5] Her bust size is 1.5. In multiple illustrations, she seems to have thick thighs. Akane herself is exceptionally, undeniably, and canonically beautiful and popular, to the point where her physical appearance has aided in diffusing conflict among students.[7] Even before she got recruited as a student council member, she was the "queen bee" during her time in high school. She was the school idol, the most popular girl, and someone on the highest rank of the social hierarchy, according to YandereDev.[8] Many male students consider Akane as the second most attractive out of all of the student council girls,[9] resulting in her having a lot of admirers than Mai Waifu does.[10] While she deliberately avoids filling the same role she had in high school, she still has fans stemming from her beauty.[8] Many of the attractive features she embodies can be attributed to the fact that she sleeps for 9 hours every night,[11] wears the most makeup out of the entire student council,[12] and wears clothing that follows the latest fashion trends, making her look beautiful in any situation.[13]

As seen in her description supplied by Info-chan, she fits the stereotype of being an airhead and a ditz. For example, any trivia game would have Akane get half of the questions right,[14] and any jigsaw puzzles would make Akane unable to solve them quickly.[15] Although this information presents her as unintelligent and stupid, it shows a darker, particularly calculated and smarter side of Akane that many people, including her admirers, may not know about.

Initially, Akane seems to be a sweet, gentle, and kind young woman who is known to be an airhead. However, there are rumors that her kind personality is a façade. This gossip about Akane had initially not been established in the video[7] but was later confirmed with the Death Demon ritual, which reveals that she is cruel and sadistic but hides it behind a sweet and gentle façade. She has a similar personality to Hoshiko Mizudori, as their dark secrets describe them as cruel and sadistic. Kuroko Kamenaga is one of the female students who currently attends Akademi. She is the Vice President of the Student Council and served as President last school year. Kuroko has chest-length straight, shiny black hair with bangs and dark gray eyes. Her bust size is 1.25, and she wears a small amount of makeup.[4]

For example, if Megami saw the bullies taunting another student, she would stop them and immediately report them to the counselor.[9] She also uses her power to maintain order in places deemed appropriate, such as Akademi. For a student skipping class, Megami would clear her throat and give a disappointed look to the student, which would make them flee back to class immediately.[10] These two situations show how Megami's presence can help her gain control quickly and change the fate or outcome of the situation in her favor.

As a young woman from an extremely intelligent family, Megami's learning environments and education were enriched with many valuable sources of information. Any trivia game would have Megami excel and get every question right,[11] and any jigsaw puzzle she encounters would be solved very quickly.[12] Her upbringing has also resulted in Megami being somewhat compared to a robot, as some people have said that whatever Megami says and does feels like it is from a script and rehearsed,[13] although it was later confirmed by YandereDev that Megami's life is extremely scripted, as if her entire life is being broadcasted live on TV.[14] In addition to this information, Megami has been conditioned and taught by her family (more notably, her father) to handle things that other people may find weird, absurd, or disturbing. For example, Megami's views on a person crying are that it is an activity that is only performed by failures, as the activity itself is not something befitting of the Saikou family.[15] However, YandereDev mentioned that the last time she cried was around 5 years ago, and if she did ever cry, the circumstances in question would be a spoiler.[16]

Megami herself is emotionally and mentally resilient, evident by how she handles any obstacle thrown at her. Insults cannot strike or affect Megami even by a tiny degree. Even after hearing insults about her, she will not even roll her eyes, showing how little she cares.[17] Despite this robotic attitude and authoritative personality she presents herself as, she can be easily manipulated through emotional means, as a ranking with the other student council members would rank Megami as the most susceptible.[18]

It is rumored that Megami hates or is scared of men or is simply a misandrist [19] due to her only accepting women into the Student Council, and that she has something to do with Aoi Ryugoku's missing eye.[20] YandereDev did confirm that Megami is considered a "feminist" since she advocates for equal rights and treatment between men and women.[21] He also confirmed that, despite the alluding theories, Megami is not a lesbian,[22] although it is known that women also have crushes on her.[23] However, she is worried about her future marriage, as she knew from a young age that her family was somewhat of an "exclusive club" and that the only way to be in the club was to be born in it or marry a family member of that club. The person marrying a Saikou family member would have to go through extensive screening for desired traits. She knew that her husband would be chosen for her not because of the romance or the chemistry between her and her suitor, but because of his accomplishments and genetics.
