The Port Mafia (“PM”) is an underground criminal organization run by Mori Ogai. Likewise, they have the similar skilled business permit to the Armed Detective Agency, allowing them to conduct their activities legally. They are also called “Night Wardens”.

The Special Division for Unusual Powers is a secret service under the government. They work by monitoring ability users in Japan. Known character there is Ango Sakaguchi, an ex-Port Mafia member.

The Decay of the Angel ("DOA") is a terrorist organization that has long since been hiding in Japan, operating as a murder association which possesses a single page from the Book. The Decay has a fourfold scheme with the penultimate goal of eliminating the country, which they operate on by writing on both sides of the page.

The Book is a single copy of a novel with all of its pages being blank and a piece of literature where anything written inside becomes the truth. However, only one copy of the Book exists and is impervious to any kind of flame or special skill.
