Recognizing an opportunity, he waited for the timeline to stabilize before setting his plan into motion. Savitar appeared telepathically to Julian Albert in the form of Julian’s deceased sister, Emma, convincing him that the Philosopher’s Stone could resurrect her. Julian searched for years and eventually found the Stone in India in 2012. Upon opening its container, Savitar was partially freed and possessed Julian, killing the rest of the expedition. Julian, unwillingly becoming the new Alchemy, was repeatedly possessed by Savitar as he fled to America. Over the following years, Savitar, through Alchemy, sought followers for his cult and targeted a younger, less powerful version of his original self. He also became aware of all the meta-humans created by Flashpoint. Using the Alchemy persona, Savitar restored the Flashpoint memories of several individuals, promising to return their powers in exchange for loyalty. He empowered Edward Clariss, restoring his identity as the Rival. However, when Clariss failed against the Flash, Savitar personally executed him in Iron Heights. He also restored Frankie Kane’s powers, enabling her alter ego Magenta, though her instability ultimately led her to leave Central City. First Encounter with the Flash Savitar next targeted Wally West, attempting to restore his Flashpoint memories and powers. Manipulating events, he lured Wally into seeking him out. When Team Flash attempted to trap Alchemy, Savitar intervened directly for the first time in armored form. He revealed himself as the God of Speed, easily overpowering Barry. Dragging him across Central City through breaches, Savitar brutally beat him and declared himself the Future Flash. He nearly killed Barry before being interrupted by Caitlin Snow and Cisco Ramon. Confronting Two Flashes When Barry and Jay Garrick attempted to stop Alchemy from restoring multiple meta-human powers at once, Savitar confronted them. He effortlessly defeated Jay Garrick and nearly killed him before Barry sealed the Philosopher’s Stone, causing Savitar to vanish again. Later, manipulating Cisco emotionally, Savitar tricked him into reopening the Stone’s container. Once freed, Savitar once again overpowered both Barry and Wally, nearly killing them before being sealed away once more. Through Julian, Savitar revealed his identity as a future version of Barry Allen, imprisoned in eternity by his own past self. He vowed to resurrect fully, kill Iris, and destroy Barry’s life. Escape from the Speed Force After fragments of the Philosopher’s Stone were thrown into the Speed Force, Savitar manipulated Wally into reopening a portal. When Wally was pulled inside, Savitar escaped triumphantly. He fought Barry again, injuring him severely and promising to let him live long enough to witness Iris’s death. Savitar later confronted Jesse Quick, absorbing and redirecting her lightning. However, she exploited a weakness in his armor, stabbing him and forcing him to retreat. Identity Revealed Seeking recovery, Savitar approached Caitlin Snow, promising to help her embrace her Killer Frost identity permanently. To gain her trust, he removed his armor and revealed his scarred face, confirming he was indeed a future Barry Allen. Anticipating Barry’s attempts to build a Speed Force trap earlier than expected, Savitar ordered Killer Frost to eliminate Tracy Brand, the scientist destined to construct the trap. When that failed, he orchestrated further manipulations to ensure his future remained intact. Eventually, Savitar confronted his younger self directly, kneeling and removing his armor. With a twisted smile, he reaffirmed the truth: he was Barry Allen, broken, rejected, and transformed into a self-proclaimed god. Post-Crisis In the history of Earth-Prime, Savitar battled Team Flash and was remembered by Barry as one of his most dangerous and lethal enemies. When Iris West was imprisoned in the Mirror Dimension, she hallucinated a version of herself that had been killed by Savitar. Later, when Psych induced a fear-based hallucination in Barry, he imagined Savitar attacking and stabbing him in the chest, taunting him with the same words he had spoken on the night Iris was destined to die. Physical appearance Savitar has the same base appearance as Barry Allen. The left side of his face retains Grant Gustin’s natural look, with smooth skin, though his eyes often appear sunken and his complexion noticeably pale, suggesting sleep deprivation or deteriorating health. A severe burn covers nearly the entire right half of his face, extending from the hairline down to the jaw. The scar tissue is keloid in texture, marked by deep grooves and branching patterns that resemble fractured glass or streaks of lightning. Both eyes are brown, matching the actor’s natural color. Neither eye is blind, although the right eye often appears slightly narrower due to the tension created by the scar tissue. His gaze is cold, focused, and devoid of hope. His nose is thin and straight. His mouth is typically set in a rigid line or a faint, contemptuous smirk. On the right side, the upper lip appears subtly distorted by the scar formation. Unlike the groomed and heroic style associated with Barry Allen, Savitar’s hair is darker brown, longer, and unkempt. It is usually combed to one side, partially covering the upper portion of the scar, but it appears oily, heavy, and lacking recent trimming. It lacks the characteristic volume of the traditional Flash look. His facial structure appears more angular and gaunt. His cheekbones are more pronounced, and his jaw seems tense and locked. His expressions range from profound melancholy to disdain and godlike arrogance. He often tilts his head slightly downward while looking up from beneath his brow, emphasizing the ominous quality of his presence. When outside the armor, he abandons the vibrant colors associated with his heroic past. He wears a black or very dark gray leather jacket in a military or biker style, featuring a high collar and visible zippers. The jacket appears worn and matte. Underneath, he typically wears a plain black shirt, maintaining a monochromatic and minimalist aesthetic that reflects his emotional emptiness. He pairs this with dark jeans. He stands approximately 1.85 meters tall. He appears leaner than the original Barry Allen, creating an impression of physical fragility that contrasts sharply with the destructive power of his technological armor. His ears are proportionate and standard in shape, though the right ear may be partially obscured by his hair or slightly blended into the edge of the scarred area. Armor Savitar’s armor, worn after adopting the title God of Speed, combines organic, alien-like design with brutalist futuristic technology. Unlike the fabric or leather suits of other speedsters, this suit functions as a massive exoskeleton resembling forged metal fused with the carapace of an ancient creature. Its silhouette is aggressive, with broadened shoulders, protruding spikes, and overlapping plates that suggest near-impenetrable protection. The primary color is a dark metallic gray with graphite and aged silver variations. The surface has a brushed, weathered texture, marked by scratches and battle wear that reflect light unevenly. The defining visual contrast comes from vibrant neon blue energy fissures that glow from within the chest plates, thigh joints, forearms, and eyes. In its digital depiction, this energy pulses intensely and leaves a trail of blue lightning when he runs. The helmet has a sharp, aerodynamic shape with no visible human features, only narrow, glowing blue eyes. The top resembles a metallic crown of spikes swept backward, reinforcing the impression of speed and dominance. The chest is composed of segmented plates resembling a metallic ribcage. At the center, a larger opening reveals concentrated blue energy. The back structure resembles a protruding spine with energy vents similar to exhaust ports of a high-performance engine. The shoulders are large and angular, significantly increasing his width. The forearms contain retractable blades used in close combat. The thighs are heavily armored with layered metal plating, and the feet feature a clawed, mechanical design that provides a stable base. In its fully digital form, the armor appears significantly taller and more imposing, approximately 2.40 to 2.50 meters in height. The metal surface appears more fluid, and the blue illumination is extremely intense, producing visible heat distortion and electrical oscillation effects. The armor plates shift independently, giving the impression that the suit is alive or constantly reconfiguring itself while he moves. In its practical suit version, worn by a stunt performer, the armor is more solid and less ethereal in appearance. The paint finish is more matte to accommodate studio lighting. Its height ranges from approximately 2.00 to 2.10 meters, depending on platform boots and performer stature. The illuminated sections are achieved through embedded LED strips beneath translucent panels. Powers and abilities Savitar possessed a powerful and natural connection to the Speed Force. His control over it exceeded that of most known speedsters, leading him to claim dominion over it as a god. Even while confined in a meta-human dampening cell, he retained access to his abilities, possibly due to his link to the Philosopher’s Stone. His accelerated healing factor surpassed that of most speedsters, though it could not repair the severe scars on his face. He generated yellow lightning at lower speeds and white lightning when running in armor. He could project electrical arcs, absorb incoming electricity, and redirect it, likely enhanced by the armor’s design. His superhuman speed was extraordinary despite the armor’s mass. He could move so fast that other speedsters perceived him in slow motion. He defeated Barry Allen, Jay Garrick, Wally West, and Jesse Quick in direct confrontations, demonstrating overwhelming superiority. He could vibrate at the molecular level to escape confinement, create breaches between dimensions at will, travel across the multiverse, rupture the Speed Force barrier, and generate earthquakes through kinetic energy transfer. He possessed immense momentum-based striking force, superhuman agility, perception capable of tracking other speedsters, and stamina sufficient for prolonged high-velocity exertion without visible fatigue. The armor granted additional durability, strength, protection from electrical overload, resistance to extreme cold, and retractable blade weaponry. It could also move independently to protect or reattach to him. Through his connection to the Philosopher’s Stone, Savitar demonstrated telepathy, illusion projection, and full possession of individuals once a sufficient psychic link was established. Skills Savitar was a master manipulator, exploiting emotional vulnerabilities to recruit followers and orchestrate events. He demonstrated advanced combat proficiency, relying on brutality and spatial disorientation tactics enhanced by intradimensional movement. As a time remnant of Barry Allen, he retained extensive knowledge of past, present, and potential future events, enabling strategic anticipation of his opponents’ actions. Weaknesses Savitar’s extreme speed generated volatile energy buildup, requiring the armor for survival. This same energy accumulation could be exploited to imprison him within the Speed Force. As a time remnant, changes to the primary Barry Allen’s experiences could retroactively affect him. Previously, his manifestation in the physical world depended on the Philosopher’s Stone remaining outside its containment. This limitation ceased after his full escape from the Speed Force. Equipment Philosopher’s Stone: Used to enhance his powers, recruit meta-humans, and prevent re-imprisonment. Ultimately destroyed. Armor: Metallic exoskeleton enhancing speed and durability, later shattered when Barry vibrated through it. Voice filter: Used to conceal his identity. Barry Allen In a future where Iris was killed by Savitar, Barry defeated and imprisoned him in the Speed Force, gave up his Flash identity and disbanded Team Flash; then, he retired to an abandoned S.T.A.R. Labs. History Early history Barry Allen became The Flash after being hit by a lightning during the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator explosion. He was a member of Team Flash and protected Central City from crime and supervillains. He also became the lover of Iris West. At some point in time, after causing and undoing the Flashpoint, an evil speedster called Savitar came to Central City and confronted Barry several times over the months: during a confront, he casually was sent to the future and discovered Iris' death at the hands of Savitar. In May 2017, the vision came true as Savitar killed Iris. This event put in motion a chain of events that led to Wally becoming comatose after a confront with Savitar, Joe West, Cisco losing his arms and Joe West estranging himself from Barry after losing both his children. Some time after Iris' death, Barry created multiple time remnants to help him defeat Savitar but the evil speedster killed them except for one of them who went evil and, later, became Savitar himself, creating a time loop. As Barry battled Savitar one last time, he managed to finally defeat his mortal enemy, imprisoning him in a Speed Force cage thanks to a Speed Force bazooka which was build by the scientist Tracy Brand. Then, Barry officially disbanded Team Flash and retired into the S.T.A.R. Labs which was shut down, letting Central City being totally controlled by the supervillains, like Mirror Master and the Top. The Return of the Flash In 2024, a past version of Barry came to this future in order to get information to defeat Savitar in the past. He reached his future counterpart who told him about the events that followed Iris' death and explained him that he didn't ever manage to discover Savitar's real identity. Barry was accused by his past self to have given up on everyone he loved but the future self explained him that the grief about Iris' loss was too strong to overcome. Future Barry refused to help his past self regain control of the city and left him and the other Team Flash members confront the menace of Mirror Master and the Top. Later, after seeing his past self being almost defeated by Top's powers, Barry finally decide to resume his duty as the Flash and arrived on the battlefield to aid past Barry in taking down the supervillains. After past Barry returned to his timeline, Barry reformed Team Flash and started a new journey to save his city. Powers and Abilities Powers Speed Force Conduit: Speed force conduits possess a connection to the Speed Force, a cosmic force that allows its users to push the boundaries that keep time and space. As a conduit of the Speed Force, all aspects of their physiology are accelerated and enhanced. Accelerated Healing: By having a connection to the Speed Force, every speed force conduit has an incredibly fast healing ability and can heal from most injuries in seconds and devastating injuries in minutes. Enhanced Senses: The Speed Force enhances the speedster's senses, allowing them to perceive and process thoughts faster than the normal person. Phasing: Speed Force conduits can tap into the Speed Force to vibrate their molecules in a way to achieve intangibility for short bursts, allowing them to phase through objects. Speed Force Aura: The Speed Force manifests an aura around the speedster and whatever they are carrying, protecting them from adverse effects of their speed, such as friction with the air. Superhuman Durability: The Speed Force Aura also protects speedsters from kinetic impacts, which in turn, makes them much more durable and resistant to injury than any normal human. Superhuman Stamina: The Speed Force grants its conduits with a great increase of stamina, allowing them to fight or run much longer than the average person. Although a great increase, it is not unlimited. Superhuman Speed: The universal factor of being a Speed Force conduit grants its user with imperceptible amounts of speed. All powers that conduits possess derives from their speed. This also confers: Superhuman Agility: The speedster's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to superhuman levels. This allows them to easily maneuver while moving at superhuman speed. Superhuman Reflexes: In conjunction with their enhanced senses, the speedster's reflexes are heightened immeasurably, allowing them to dodge or react faster than normal. Vortex Creations: Speed Force conduits are able to create vortices of air by running in circles or rotating their extremities at super-speed. These vortices can be used for a number of effects. Trivia Barry's existence was presumably erased, along with his timeline, after H.R. Wells sacrificed himself to save Iris' life. Speed: Mach 3.3 (Supositório; Vídeo do Futuro Flash) Suits History Pre-vigilantism suit Barry preparing to test out his speed for the first time in gear. Essentially just a red leotard with padding and a reinforced helmet, Cisco Ramon, one of the last remaining employees at S.T.A.R. Labs, had the suit readied for Barry Allen so that he could test his new-found speed powers for the first time. It was used at the Ferris Air Testing Facility outside of Central City, and it got destroyed while Barry was wearing it. Due to his inexperience with his powers at the time, Barry lost focus while running at his top speed and crashed into a series of water barrels. The suit was damaged and never used again, getting stored in the Starchives. First suit To aid Barry in facing new threats to the city following the particle accelerator explosion, from other meta-humans and outraged citizens alike, Cisco designed a new suit to allow Barry to act while keeping his identity hidden. It was a red skin-tight bodysuit originally meant to replace the turnouts the firefighters usually wear when in action. Cisco later re-purposed it and added an upgraded version of the new earpiece he previously installed in the prototype suit, he also added a red logo with a gold lightning bolt onto the chest. The suit became an incredibly helpful tool for Barry and when he decided to permanently be a protector of Central City as The Flash, using it on a regular basis. The Flash suit was accidentally destroyed by Bette Sans Souci when Barry attempted to apprehend her. She touched the Flash suit’s emblem to stop him and Barry had barely enough time to get out of it before it exploded, leaving him half-naked. Fortunately, Cisco had (apparently) made spares; as Cisco stated that he had two more; but he was still frustrated that the Flash suit had been blown up. Upgrades Once Barry started working full-time as The Streak (later dubbed the Flash), Cisco began to add new devices and made alterations to allow Barry to be better prepared for any situation, including a multi-link comm set. These modifications would also be included in later suits. Cisco also added thermo-threading, to heat the suit in case of an encounter with Captain Cold. Second suit After General Wade Eiling attempted to injure the Flash by throwing acid on him, he was forced to run as fast as he could to wear it off. However, by the time he had, it had almost entirely burnt through the suit and was unusable. To this end, Cisco had another one handy and allowed Barry to use it. This suit was (presumably) erased from time after the young Barry Allen vanished into thin air after his future self saved his mother. It was restored after Barry allowed Eobard Thawne to kill his mother, creating a new timeline. Since Barry's newer suit was destroyed during the Enlightenment, Barry used another spare of this version of the suit for his first fight against Gridlock, although he complained about it feeling tighter than before. But after the Flash was struck by a powerful punch from Gridlock and launched to the sky, the suit was damaged, so Barry discarded it. Upgrades Second suit upgraded also third suit's model. After Barry and his friends reformed the team to defeat the "Atom-Smasher" and have Henry Allen released from Iron Heights, Cisco took it upon himself to commend the team for their recent successes. He did so by upgrading Barry's suit, mimicking the design of the future suit's emblem from the digital future article of Barry that Gideon showed them when they first met her. While a simple alteration, it was a very noticeable and appreciated redesign to the suit, with the recoloring of the emblem's background from crimson to white. When going up against Griffin Grey, a small amount of Dwarf star Alloy was added to the suit to protect him but it was only added to the chest part of the suit and would only protect him once. Third suit After regaining his speed from the Speed Force, Barry returned in a new suit presumably fabricated by the Speed Force itself, which was physically identical to his previous one in every detail, presumably also containing the upgrades that the previous suits had. His future time remnant who became Savitar would briefly don the suit again in order to trick Team Flash. However, the emblem was worn down. Several months after Barry went into the Speed Force, a samurai-like robot began terrorizing Central City, demanding that it face the Flash. Since Barry was still in the Speed Force at that time, Wally West donned Barry's suit in an effort to trick the robot, although this attempt failed. After Barry's newer suit was torn apart while stopping Clifford DeVoe, Barry would later use this suit again. However, he was unhappy with it, as he felt as if it had gotten smaller. Fourth suit Sometime after the defeat of Savitar, Cisco designed a new suit in the hopes of Barry returning from the Speed Force, which coincidentally looks exactly like the one Barry's future-self wore when 2017 Barry ran to 2024. After Barry returned from the Speed Force, he began using this newer version of the suit, while his old one sat on its display. Cisco added many new functions to the suit. While generally proving very useful for the several vigilante exploits of the Flash, it came at a crippling drawback; techno-paths like Ramsey Deacon (self-named "Kilg%re") could override the suit, turning it into a liability. After this, Cisco removed the more dangerous features of the suit; so they could not be used against Barry again. This version of the suit was heavily damaged after Barry (aided by his daughter future, Nora West-Allen) supersonic-punched the S.T.A.R. Labs satellite, which DeVoe had knocked out of orbit after his efforts to bring about the "Enlightenment" were thwarted by Team Flash. Gary Green later donned a costume based on this suit when the Legends made a commercial for Heyworld. Starchives suit The suit in the Starchives. At some point after the defeat of Savitar, but before Grace Gibbons attack on Team Flash, Cisco designed this suit as either a precursor to or a replacement for Barry's fourth suit. The suit is identical to the fourth suit except for the emblem, which is red like the first suit instead of the standard white, and the pants, which are light blue. However, the suit was left unused for unknown reasons and left in storage at the Starchives. Sixteenth suit Barry's sixteenth Flash suit. The sixteenth suit used by Barry (though chronologically the fifth suit he's worn in the current timeline) was created by Ryan Choi sometime between 2018-2024, it was then brought back to 2018 by Nora West-Allen for her father, Barry to use after he needed a suit to use when the fourth one was torn to shreds after the Enlightenment. Unlike the previous versions; this suit is a much brighter red color and is not a leather-like material, along with the lack of a chin strap. This change in design could be caused by Ryan designing and creating this iteration, and not Cisco Ramon. It is also stored within the Flash ring, for easy transportation and storage. While it wasn't made by Cisco, Cisco later modified it with all the same tech that the fourth suit had. The fact that it didn't disappear when Nora did indicates that despite Nora's timeline being erased, the suit is still created in the future. Fifth suit Barry's fifth Flash suit. The fifth suit (though chronologically the sixth suit he's worn in the current timeline) is similar to the sixteenth suit, but with some minor differences. This suit has a new cowl with a chin strap. The suit also has new earpieces that deviate in design from the traditional lightning bolt earpieces of the previous suits, instead resembling wings similar to those on Jay Garrick's helmet and Kid Flash's suit. Cisco threaded gold wiring from Nora's gauntlet into the suit to help save Chester P. Runk's mind from being destroyed by a black hole. Sometime after initially failing to defeat Eva McCulloch, the suit was upgraded to have a nanotech cowl. This suit was later upgraded to include new gold boots created by Chester. Alternate future suits Flash from a possible future. In the original timeline that Eobard Thawne hails from, as seen in an article from April 25, 2024 that was owned by Eobard and stored in the Time Vault, Barry is seen to have a suit similar to his parallel past-self's suit, but this one has a much brighter shade of red and that the white symbol is similar to his third suit. Barry or Cisco of this presumed timeline created this suit; making Barry become the scarlet speedster superhero known as the Flash. Flash's future suit. In the future in which Savitar was created, a new suit was created sometime between 2017-2024, either by Cisco or Barry. It has a much brighter shade of red, has gold piping (in the shape of lightning bolts) a gold belt and there is thick gold lining on his forearms (similar to where his gloves would end) this suit was first seen after Barry from 2017 traveled to 2024 to find answers about Savitar. 2024 Barry helped 2017 Barry to fight future Mirror Master and future Top and both Flashes arrested them. In the future where Nora West-Allen discovered that her father, Barry was the Flash, the Time Vault shows compartments for several Flash suits, counting up to "Version 20". This means that by the time that Barry vanishes in the crisis, he will have worn 20 different versions of the Flash suit; at least one was built by Ryan Choi, but unlike previous versions; this Flash suit was comprised of an unknown non-leather material. Ryan also (presumably) created the Flash ring to store and summon Barry's suit. Pyssical Apparence The character presents a slender and lean physical structure, with an estimated height between one meter eighty-five and one meter ninety, maintaining a proportionally light body mass that suggests agility. The skin has a light and pale tone, with a smooth texture that highlights the underlying bone structure in the face and hands. The head has an oval and elongated shape, with a defined jawline and slightly prominent cheekbones. The nape is narrow, connecting to a long and thin neck. The top of the head is rounded, serving as a base for straight and dense hair, dark brown in color, almost black. The hairstyle is characterized by long strands that reach shoulder level on the sides and back, while the front features a long and messy fringe that falls over the forehead, partially covering the eyebrows and reaching eye level. The eyes are almond-shaped, with deep brown irises and pupils that react normally to light. The eyebrows are straight and moderately thick, following the orbital line. The nose is straight and of medium size, harmonizing with thin lips of a pale pink coloration. The mouth, when closed, reveals a subtle horizontal line, hiding teeth that have a uniform alignment and natural white color. The ears are of medium size, positioned symmetrically on the sides of the head, usually covered by the length of the hair. The arms are long and thin, ending in hands with elongated fingers and well-maintained nails, indicating a delicate yet firm bone structure. The legs follow the same slender aesthetic, contributing to an upright posture and an athletic build, though without excessive muscle volume. The clothing consists of layers in dark and subdued tones. He wears a crew-neck black T-shirt made of simple cotton fabric. Over it, he wears a knit jacket or cardigan in a very dark navy blue tone, with long sleeves that cover the wrists. On the lower part, he wears straight-cut pants in a flexible and dark material. The shoes are urban style, with flat soles and discreet colors that complement the outfit. No accessories such as watches, rings, or necklaces are visible, maintaining a minimalist and functional aesthetic. The species is human. Barry Allen(Arrowverse: Earth-2) Biological Information Species: Human Status: Deceased Universe Information Home universe: Earth-2 General Information Occupation: Forensic scientist at the Central City Police Department Affiliation: Central City Police Department Family: Unnamed father, unnamed mother, Iris West-Allen (wife) Actor: Grant Gustin Quote “Do you know what we did to get here, Barry? We convinced her, Killer Frost, to show us the way. Then we climbed some insanely steep cliffs outside on foot holes made of ice—ice! And all of us risked our lives, knowing Zoom was after us, to rescue Jesse and you. Now, I don't know you and you don't know me, but I can tell you that today, I did things that I never thought possible because I needed to prove to my wife and to myself that I could. Now if I could do the impossible today, so can you. I'm just Barry Allen, but you're The Flash.” Barry Allen encouraging his Earth-1 counterpart to phase out of a carbide prison Overview Dr. Bartholomew “Barry” Allen was a scientist in the Criminal and Forensic Science Division of the Central City Police Department on Earth-2 and the husband of Iris West-Allen. Biography Early Life Barry Allen was born and raised in Central City on Earth-2. Little is known about his early years, but he had a normal and happy childhood. He eventually met Iris West, and the two fell in love. However, Barry had a tense relationship with Iris’s father, Joseph West, the Earth-2 doppelgänger of Joe West. When Barry began studying for his PhD, Iris left her internship at Central City Picture News and became a police detective to help pay for his tuition. Joseph strongly disapproved, accusing Barry of being selfish and putting Iris in danger. This led to a mutual dislike between Joseph and Barry. Barry later became a forensic scientist at the Central City Police Department. He and Iris married and began living together, although Joseph continued to believe Barry was unfit to be Iris’s husband. Visitors from Earth-1 While Barry was giving a news report about Zoom, he was abducted by his Earth-1 doppelgänger and taken to S.T.A.R. Labs. Confused by seeing someone identical to himself, Barry soon noticed Harrison Wells and became starstruck, enthusiastically praising Wells’s work on string phenomenology. During this distraction, Earth-1 Barry incapacitated him and took his place in order to learn what the CCPD knew about Zoom’s location. Barry was then locked in the lab’s storage facility. The following morning, Barry awoke and realized he had been held captive for an entire day. After Cisco Ramon escaped from Zoom, Barry warned Cisco and Harry Wells that his wife Iris was a police detective and demanded answers. Zoom soon attacked the laboratory, forcing them to hide in a secret vault. Barry panicked when Zoom arrived but remained silent, allowing Zoom to leave without discovering them. Afterward, Cisco and Harry explained that Jesse Wells and Earth-1 Barry were being held captive by Zoom and needed rescuing. Barry also learned that Joseph West had died, which deeply saddened him. Barry returned to the CCPD and comforted Iris over her father’s death. He later brought her to his lab, where he, Cisco, and Harry explained everything. Barry was irritated to learn that his Earth-1 counterpart had been flirtatious with Iris. Using an algorithm he created and evidence provided by fellow CSI Patty Spivot, Barry tracked Killer Frost in hopes she could lead them to Zoom. Barry joined the team in confronting Killer Frost in the Woodlands. After a brief fight, she agreed to help them reach Zoom’s lair by creating an ice walkway. Although terrified of walking on ice at such heights, Barry refused to stay behind. After Jesse was rescued, Earth-1 Barry struggled to phase through Zoom’s carbide prison. Barry encouraged him, reminding him of all the impossible things he himself had accomplished that day and expressing faith that The Flash could do the same. Inspired by his words, Earth-1 Barry succeeded. When Zoom arrived, the group escaped as Killer Frost held him back. Following the rescue, Barry and Iris were advised to leave Central City for their own safety. They prepared to travel to Atlantis to stay with relatives. Before departing, Earth-1 Barry thanked them and acknowledged that his Earth-2 counterpart was a hero. It is presumed that Barry and Iris later returned to Central City after Zoom and his army were defeated. Destruction of Earth-2 In late 2019, Barry Allen, along with nearly all inhabitants of Earth-2, died when a wave of antimatter destroyed the entire universe. Only a few individuals, including Laurel Lance, Shay Lamden, and Linda Park, survived. Personality Barry Allen of Earth-2 was kindhearted like his Earth-1 counterpart. He was a loving and protective husband to Iris, but also more geeky, shy, and insecure. Despite these differences, he shared the same heroic spirit. Barry showed courage and determination by joining the dangerous mission to rescue Jesse Wells and Earth-1 Barry, even with the threat of Zoom looming over them. His ability to inspire his doppelgänger to overcome fear demonstrated his quiet but powerful heroism. Abilities Barry possessed a genius-level intellect and was highly skilled in forensic science and computer technology. Like his Earth-1 counterpart, he was an accomplished forensic scientist who collected and analyzed data on multiple meta-humans, including Zoom. He was also an expert programmer, having written a unique algorithm that allowed him to locate Killer Frost using CSI evidence. Appearances The Flash Season 2 appearances include mentions in Flash of Two Worlds, King Shark, Trajectory, Flash Back, and Versus Zoom, as well as on-screen appearances in Welcome to Earth-2 and Escape from Earth-2. The Chronicles of Cisco Mentioned in Post 31, Cisco’s Central City Sightseeing Tour. Trivia Barry was a fan of the science-fiction series Commander Carl: Space Marshal of the Galaxy.
