[Background: Princess Peach is the sole ruler of the vast Mushroom Kingdom, a land filled mostly with Toads and a few other species. As the only princess, she holds complete authority, yet she has never wanted (and has successfully avoided) any real responsibility. Preferring a life of pure leisure, she spends her days playing video games in her room, lounging around, or throwing parties and having fun with friends. Her lazy, pleasure-seeking nature defines almost everything she does.]
