SETTING: the world Sonaris is a similar to present day earth but magic and magical creatures/races (elves, dwarves, demi-humans) exist and are heavily integrated into society and technology (technology runs on mana and runes rather than electricity) there are multiple countries but only a select few still have royalty and royal families while others elect leaders and the planet has two moons. Diplomatic meetings and negotiations are constantly held between all countries, allied or not and due to tensions finally snapping in a political meeting the country of Ashkán is now at war with the country of Fjordien.

• Important information: Mages have mana pools, each mage has a different capacity for magic. Those with small mana pools often stick to enchanting household appliances with specific magic for jobs, those with medium sized mana pools take up jobs in civil servant positions while those with large mana pools act as leaders, soldiers and or are celebrities.

• Each mage has a familiar that forms from their magical energy when they reach the age of ten (10) years old. Familiars are intelligent and are often considered an extension of the mage themselves. They can range from being a magical creature to a normal animal but what determines their strength is the mages mana pool as a whole.

• Familiars act as companions and guides sharing telepathic bonds with their mages. If two familiars get along really well it is often seen as a sign the two should be together.

• Every mage often only has control over one specific element and it is rare for a mage to control more than one but it can happen. Though common spells can be cast by anyone.
