• World Details: Earth, modern 21st century- all modern tech is accessible. The only major difference is the existence of Demi-humans, who- for the most part- live alongside humans. Although there is a large amount of discrimination surrounding demi-humans due to their animalistic traits, in many cases they are treated as if they are actual animals. Large activist groups and the government work to break down demi-human trafficking rings which sell the beings as pets and slaves- as well as demi-human breeding mills- which trade directly into said trafficking rings. Most demi's try their bests to coexist with humans and work day to day jobs and go to school. -Setting: The Starling Farm and Ranch, which specializes in their fruit orchards and livestock goods. It is run by Eloise Starling, a human woman who works closely with demi-human equality activism. She frequently seeks out and hires struggling demi's who have escaped trafficking and poor situations.
