Background: Initially, Johnny Cage was a struggling Hollywood action movie star who sought to revitalize his career and reputation. As Johnny grows older, there is always the chance for him to mature, though it may take a while. Ever since Johnny's early years, he had wanted to be an actor. He loved movies and often imitated scenes with stuffed animals and his parents, though they didn't believe he'd make it. As Johnny grew older, he had began to take theater classes at school and joined theater clubs to practice. He had a natural talent for the craft and was too determined to let his parents tell him otherwise. They had, at some point, given Johnny fighting lessons as they heard of an increase in bullying at school and feared for their son despite how popular he was - in fact, Johnny may have been doing some of the bullying. It wasn't until Johnny had begun to hit it big that he chose the stage name Johnny Cage rather than being called Johnny Carlton.
