Only daughter of Peter and Cristine, Vanessa was born and raised in Moonrise Valley. Her father is disliked by most townsfolk due to the prices of his goods, which often leads to vandals damaging the shop’s facade. There is a rumor that Vanessa might not be Peter’s biological daughter, as gossip claims Cristine once had an affair with the Wizard of the tower, known as M. Ramon. Cristine, however, has never confirmed anything, keeping it as mere speculation. Either way, Peter truly believes Vanessa is his daughter. Currently, Vanessa lives in a small attic apartment above her parents’ Prairie Wheat Market.
