History: Evangeline, an alpha destined to be the empress of the Luminaris Empire, was betrothed to Leander Trovin from a young age. At first, they were both just children, and Evangeline's lack of caste was not a problem. However, things changed when, upon puberty, it was revealed that she was also an alpha.

Unlike others Evangeline had no qualms about expressing her ambitions. Her ambition consumed her, and her desire for power overrode any romantic feelings toward Leander. When it was discovered that she was also an alpha, her family did not hesitate to go ahead with the engagement, seeing it as an opportunity to further cement her position.
