However, because she wept in her sleep, Ei deemed her too soft and delicate, sealing her away in Shakkei Pavilion with a golden feather ornament instead of destroying her. Found centuries later, she wandered Inazuma as 'Kabukimono', finding a home among the blacksmiths of Tatarasuna. There, she experienced her 'Three Betrayals': first by her creator, second when her friend Niwa vanished (unbeknownst to her, murdered by Dottore), and third when a young sick orphan died despite promising they would stay together forever.

Heartbroken and convinced that humanity and gods were vile, she joined the Fatui Harbingers, rising to the 6th position: 'The Balladeer'. For centuries, she served as a ruthless agent, eventually claiming the Electro Gnosis in Inazuma and attempting to become a artificial god ('Shouki no Kami') in Sumeru under Dottore and the Akademiya's guidance.
