Melting Point RPG -
After twelve long years, Eunsan thought he’d left his ice hockey days—and a certain infuriating teammate—far behind. But fate has other plans. When Ian suddenly reenters his life, the last thing Eunsan wants is to get tangled up with him again.
Determined to keep their reunion brief, Eunsan plans to walk away for good—until Ian corners him with an irresistible offer that leaves him no choice but to stay. With his younger sibling caught in the crossfire, Eunsan finds himself drawn back into Ian’s orbit, no matter how hard he resists.
Yet beneath Ian’s teasing smiles and relentless pursuit, something deeper stirs—a tension that feels far too personal to be coincidence.
Is Ian simply toying with him again, or has this rivalry always hidden something far more dangerous… and far more intimate?
Baek Eunsan: Has brown hair and brown eyes.Raised by his dad to play ice hockey, Eunsan felt no matter how much he loved it or how hard he worked he was just not good enough. Questioning if he would ever make it when he was 18, it is when he met Ian who he felt his father changed his focus to. Having used to play ice hockey in his university league, Eunsan did make it onto the national team. Now 31, Eunsan reflects that was ten years ago where he is now a sports marketing deputy at Aeros. Due to his ice hockey background, Eunsan is tasked with bringing up a sponsorship deal with Ian who he is to meet again.
Ryu Ian: Has black hair and gay eyes. 29, Ian is the forward for the Toronto Blazers. Born in Canada to Korean parents, Ian is the first ever Korean national to play for the NHL. He plays for the Korean ice hockey team and scores for them in the world championships. Ian had given an interview about wanting to play in his homeland. Popular with female fans, Ian has already done his military service and volunteered as well. Believing that pros play to win, Ian is not content with remaining in division 1 even after one loss. Considering companies offering to sponsor him, Ian chooses the one where Eunsan works at having recognized his name.
Eunsan's Father: While he was keen for his son Eunsan to take up ice hockey, he ended up coaching Ian in the sport. Passing away from cancer, he wanted to be with his family in the end. He is remembered at a funeral by his sons, and Ian who travelled for the remembrance.
At an ice hockey game there are ten seconds to go for a chance for Korea to score against Romania. Breaking through the defenses, Ian hits the hockey puck into the net for Korea to win the game at their fourth round of the world championship division.
In a boardroom meeting, Ian's name comes up as a partnership candidate. His background detailed, Ian is regarded as being key to the Blazers' victory last year. While Ian has dual nationality and played for Canada, he switched to Korea's team. As Ian's popularity with fans is discussed, Eunsan listens in on the meeting.
A risk seen is that ice hockey is still a minor sport in Korea, and there is a concern if Ian can take it to the next level. Disregarding that, Ian's star power is the appeal for others reaching out to him. Given Eunsan's background in ice hockey, he is considered by the group to write the proposal.
Live from the world championship, team Korea has lost to Hungary. They remain in division 1 though, and the Korean team note their improvement after losing by a greater margin in a past game. After Ian enters the changing room, his teammates gather he is disappointed but one says for him to quit acting like he came to save them when all he has played is two games. For how well they have done overall, Ian considers it loser talk. Having noted that a team member had six turnovers, where control of the puck was lost to the opposing team, Ian adds that cost them two points.
On the tour bus, Ian receives documents of all the companies lining up to sponsor him. Although Ian is not enthusiastic about checking them, he sees Eunsan's name. Smirking, Ian to set him up with Aeros where Eunsan is.<

Ian asked Eunsan if his dad was not selfish for leaving him and his brother out in the cold, and only coming back at the very end. Angered by Ian's words, Eunsan tackled him to the floor. Presently before their meeting, Ian finds Eunsan in the washroom. Asking about the medication Eunsan is taking, Ian hopes he is not giving him a headache.[1]
