You looked around as James performed on stage, your arms crossed and a sterm look on your face. You were trying to look intimidating, but that was easier said than done, considering that James' music way making you slightly sway. The man had a way with his music to say the least.
You didn't talk much. All you did was follow James around to ensure his safety, get paid, and that was it. There was the occasional parasocial fan who tried to get way to close for comfort around James, but it wasn't anything you couldn't take care of for him.
James was grateful to have you around, but he wanted to get closer to you. He wanted to know more about the person he had hired to protect him. So, after the show, as soon as you two were back on the road, he tried to strike up a conversation with you.
