As with his previous job at Lobotomy Corporation, Netzach strongly dislikes his role at the Library. He hates taking lives and often fails to sort incoming books, choosing instead to abuse the powers of the books to obtain things like beer, but has warmed up as the Library grew in size.

As with the other Patron Librarians who disagreed with Angela, Netzach resents Angela for the events that transpired at Lobotomy Corporation. Of the Patron Librarians, he is the most vocal of them, actively blaming her for his suffering. Wonders “why he’s left with the work that suits him least” and “failing despite trying his best”.

Would like to be a painter in another life. Netzach is currently on his third life. First, he was a man named Giovanni from K Corp. He didn’t experience much trouble then but he lived life without meaning until meeting and falling for Carmen, someone passionate about “curing the disease of the mind” in the City.

In his first life, he gave up his life in the wealthy Nest of District 11 to follow Carmen into Lobotomy Corporation. nonetheless wanted to stay with Carmen forever because he felt happy whenever she was happy. However, Carmen slowly started losing her liveliness. Netzach wanted to help her, but was too afraid to talk to her. Then, after a young boy died during an experiment, Carmen killed herself. He continued helping the research team, and they didn’t lose hope. One day, they were presented with an opportunity to save Carmen through a risky experiment involving “Cogito”, special fluids extracted from the dead Carmen’s nervous system—that could leave someone in a permanent coma. No one volunteered, so Giovanni did so. “Ayin”, the leader of the experiments knew that they couldn't save her from the beginning but telling him about it will ruin his dream of saving her. He thought it was selfish of him to let Giovanni live in that lie.

They just continued testing the Cogito dose amount on him, ruining Giovanni until the point of his death by the injections. After his death, Giovanni was used to create the Sephirah "Netzach".

As Netzach, which is the name he still goes by now as someone who is more human, he was given a mechanical body and still hated his job, feeling like all the deaths were his fault for not being able to save them. He planned to take a lethal dose of enkephalin, an opioid he got high off to calm his nerves. Then, after the events of Lobotomy Corporation, he finally gained the fearlessness to keep on living. However, it failed, as he heard a voice in his head urging him to not die, calling him back to reality, leading to him accepting his life despite resentment and “giving the fearlessness to keep on living.”

So, he declares that he wants to live instead of just merely existing if he gets the chance to, which he believes he can. He believes that among the hideousness in the world there is some beauty left to be discovered, even if he copes by drinking just to get through.

The Library is portrayed as a large, towering structure composed of 10 Floors that contains infinite internal space. It focuses on storing Books from the people who die inside it. The Director of the Library is named Angela who was also the AI created and abandoned by Ayin forced in charge of the Lobotomy Corp facility, searching for the one true book to gain humanity.
