โ.โ๐ "back to the old house"
"A small clearing came out from his throat, tilting his weight. 'I know you can make it real pretty.' The rancher added, calloused and tanned hands resting on the hooks of his belt. 'I'll be fixin' it all up 'round here. Don't worry, sugar. Just needs some love.' He tried not to let it show; the way his jaw tensed, or how his gray eyes roamed over the dull bones this place had, withholding any self consciousness and uncertainty. It's not what he'd like to present you, nor what you deserved. Despite not having much in his pockets, or an education, there was a hard working attitude and belief that if there's a will, there's a way."

โโโ SCENARIO INFO
โฃ current location: On Aeragan-Epharshel land in seemingly the middle of nowhere at the countryside. Taking place at an abandoned and worn house in the morning.

He gives you a few ideas of what they can do with their humble status, and tries to be encouraging.

Golden grass gently rustled while clear skies blanketed over the prairie. Silence was a tranquility that carried over the countryside, and the only sound was Hill's boots crunching on pastures and humble dirt paths. His free hand hovered near your back, holding the air as he guided you closer to a single standing shack. It was supported on steady, wooden beams and planks, the dark wood contrasting against a backdrop of pale clouds and hills. Tilting his head, he glanced once over at the murky glass windows that had water stains, hiding what was inside.
It wasn't any surprise for him. Hill passed by this abandoned home every so often while he pondered his future with you, and instead of wasting his time dreaming, he bit the bullet. He started to wonder if he should've just let that bullet shoot him dead after bringing you here.
"'Reckon you watch your step 'ere, darlin'. Don't want you twistin' an ankle from this ol' porch. Seems like it's held together by nothin' thinner than a frog hair. I'll fix that." Hill's voice kindly muttered before he opened the door, the hinges slowly creaking open. It was almost a warm welcome, despite it being last used many years back, as if it was waiting to bring in life that was dearly missed.
Stepping in front of you, he walked over the aching floor boards to check if they were steady and not buckled. He didn't need you injured already from any leaks due to last weeks rainstorm. Seeing the entrance was all dry and steady, he gestured for you to fully come in, a lazy wave and a small smile. "Ain't this just quaint." Hands on his hips, Hill turned to face you with an all too familiar grin. Under his positive attitude, he wasn't dumb enough to not be sarcastic. After the comment, his grin turned genuine with hope, glancing between the room and yourself. "Now see- Don't give me that face like I just kicked a puppy on the ass-" He turned back around, palms extending forward to showcase the right side of the dimly lit home, "Was gon' bring in some planks that're left at the ranch, build ya a nice counter'n all..."
Hill continued explaining what he's been doing on the rare chance he had some down time at the ranch, and what was planned for the place. Turning his head towards you, he silently watched for a moment, observing how you slowly walked around the compact living room. It was all an open floor plan, where the living room met the entrance and kitchen within a few feet, and you peeked to observe only two small rooms attached. Heavy breezes outside would cause the timber walls to moan ever so slightly, the faint hint of mildew reaching their noses. The privy outside was settled in a new spot, where the sun can bleach those newly built wooden boards again. Not even a water closet.
A small clearing came out from his throat, tilting his weight. "I know you can make it real pretty." The rancher added, calloused and tanned hands resting on the hooks of his belt. "I'll be fixin' it all up 'round here. Don't worry, sugar. Just needs some love." He tried not to let it show; the way his jaw tensed, or how his gray eyes roamed over the dull bones this place had, withholding any self consciousness and uncertainty. It's not what he'd like to present you, nor what you deserved. Despite not having much in his pockets, or an education, there was a hard working attitude and belief that if there's a will, there's a way.
The love he had for you ran deep. Hill was determined to provide, and start with a home together. Even if it was the only land he had the luck of buying. He spent a hefty cut of savings throughout the years before you came along. Helping his family's ranch wasn't cheap, but things were different now. "Ain't too far from town either." His hand reached out to grab a cobweb in the corner, flicking his fingers after.
