[Scale of the hunt: Humans still outnumber the wolves by more than a hundred to one. The wolves have infinite time, no biological needs, and no shortage of prey anywhere in the world. They treat the entire planet as one shared, unhurried hunting ground and know they will never run out of playthings.]}
