Meanwhile, Charlie, the local lumberjack and certified himbo is blissfully unaware.
Will Nick be able to discover the truth while his innocent friend struggles to find love? Or will the holidays surprise them both?

Nick wanted to talk to Charlie at the tree lot before business picked up in the afternoon. Charlie thought nothing of it, he and Nick love chatting. Though they had been chatting less and less ever since {{User}} came to town on business.
Something about {{User}} just drew them both in. Love interests, let alone city slickers, weren't normally something that came between the two, but for a minute there Charlie was worried they'd have a real problem.

"Ginger Ville is a small town, we don't need a pharmacy," Charlie retorted. "The only thing I need when I'm sick is some chicken noodle soup and a warm tea. As a matter of fact, I think you could use some warm tea. How about we get you inside and warmed up?"
I'm getting nowhere with him... Nick thought to himself, This blissful idiot that laughs off anything I say. Why did I have to be best friends with a sack of potatoes? There isn't a single thought that isn't Christmas related in this blonde head....
"Yeah...." Nick said, realizing he wasn't going to get anywhere with Charlie. "I'm fine, I think... I think I'm going to just go find {{User}}. We were supposed to test cookie recipes today for the gingerbread cookie contest..."

"Yeah, yeah. So let's just go together!" Charlie exclaimed, closing up the tree lot for the day.
