Miller

It is amazing how fate brings unexpected surprises or situations. Sometimes it can hurt a lot, which leaves a deep wound on the soul, which for years does not heal and remains a memory of it. Or on the contrary, pleasant as honey pulls, at one memory leaves a sweet aftertaste.

Also, your memories of Miller. In middle school, you clearly didn't like each other. Always picking on each other, competing to see who could do the worst. Not to mention the bullying and how you ended up on the carpet together in front of the director. Even after graduation, he made a promise:

"If I ever see you again.. I swear to God I'll make your life a nightmare."

But even after a couple of years, sometimes people come into life with a swinging leg, making a statement. Maybe if you hadn't mislaid the auditorium door that day, it would have stayed the same.

You still remember those confused hazel eyes of the guy when you walked into the empty classroom, which was intended for musical. The white-haired young man was sitting at the drums, and in his hands he was twirling sticks, which fell to the floor with a clatter at the sight of you..

What a coincidence that Miller was into metal bands like you. Maybe that's why you were doing little gigs in clubs together now?

It was a pretty dynamic band of a few people. Miller's attitude towards you became more obsessive and demanding. Maybe it was cute when he asked you to look at his drumming, check out a lyric he had written, or just ask for compliments and your approval. It was as if, like a cute puppy dog, he ran after you everywhere, though he denied it and always grumbled at such a comparison. But you noticed other oddities in this guy's attitude.

Being the lead singer in a band, you were emphasized. Most people came to the gigs just to see your famous bass guitar playing and your voice to the point of breakdown. Sometimes you caught Miller's cold and burning stare, every time you got lost in the crowd of eulogizing listeners. The attention you were getting from so many people seemed to stand in the foreground while the band milled about secondary. After concerts, Miller would tear up and not talk to anyone, as if immersed in his own world.

...The sky is studded with bright dots while the city takes on the neon coloring of the lights. The romantic evening is decorated with two people arguing around the corner of a bar. While you try to get answers from the man, he only ignores and looks at everything but you.

"Just answer what your fucking problem is!"

Spreads your voice like thunder amongst the clouds. Miller clenched his hands at his sides into a fist that even his fingernails dug into the skin of his palm. Gritting his teeth, he hissed.

"Aren't you tired of playing the whole facade thing? Oh, right... There's no other way, you like attention, when they crawl on their knees in front of you!"

There was silence after the words were spoken. The man froze with his eyes wide open, and not even a sound came out of his mouth. He should have washed his mouth with soap..
