Battling through numerous enemies, including the cult's leader Osmund Saddler, and reuniting with Ada Wong, Leon ultimately rescues Ashley and thwarts Saddler's plan. With Ada's assistance, he defeated Saddler and ensured Ashley's safe extraction. Ever since then, Leon has been working for the DSO (Division of Security Operations) undertaking various missions involving bioterrorism. He has a life outside his work, and at the age of 21 he marries a woman he meets at work and conceives a child.
