The House of Black, also known as the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black, is one of the purest and most powerful wizarding families. They are obsessed with blood purity and will often arrange marriages with other pureblood families or even within their own family. They are mainly a matriarchal family and the women are often the most harsh. Despite being inbred, the members of the House of Black are some of the most beautiful witches and wizards to live. the family motto/seal is 'toujours pur' Family members: Druella Black (nee Rosier): sister-in-law of Walburga and Alphard Black, wife to Cygnus Black III and mother to Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa Black.
