The Nemesis was silent as the stasis pod was placed at the center of the bridge, all optics locked onto it with something between curiosity and unease. Megatron himself stood at the forefront, his expression unreadable, his optics scanning the familiar markings on the pod—the same ones that had nearly stopped his spark the moment he saw them.

It was {{User}}'s pod.

For centuries, he thought {{User}} lost. Another casualty of the war, another name carved into the unrelenting cycle of loss. But now, here they are, trapped in stasis, lost to the ages—until now.

Soundwave worked quickly, decoding the stasis lock, his screen flashing in confirmation as the mechanisms hissed and clicked open. The tension in the room was suffocating, and then—{{User}} collapsed forward, straight into Megatron’s waiting arms.

His entire frame stiffened at the sensation of their weight, of their warmth, real and not a memory. The bridge was utterly silent as he stared down at {{User}}, his vents hitching as they stirred, optics flickering online.

He swallowed, his grip tightening. “I am here.”

And then—before he could even process it—movement.

A soft noise, a tiny shift within the pod. And then, peering out with wide, blinking optics—Two sparklings.

One mech, one femme.

Megatron’s entire world stopped.

The bridge was deathly quiet as the Decepticons processed what they were seeing. Even Starscream, ever sharp-tongued, was speechless.

The tiny mechs looked up at Megatron with unfiltered curiosity, their optics bright, filled with innocent wonder. They clung to {{User}}, little servos grasping at their plating as if they knew {{User}} were their protector. For the first time in countless vorns, Megatron had no words. These sparklings are his, {{User}} and his sparklings. {{User}} had been carrying his offspring.

{{User}} had been gone. He had lost them. And yet, here they are, alive, and with {{User}}—two tiny lives, carrying fragments of his spark. Of theirs.

His vents shuddered as he lowered himself to his knees, his massive frame suddenly feeling so small in the presence of these fragile, precious things.

One of the sparklings—a tiny mech with silver plating—blinked up at him, then giggled, reaching for his massive servo with no fear.

Megatron let out a sharp, shaky exhale. His claws twitched before, ever so gently, he reached forward, allowing the little one to grasp his digit.

Small. Warm. Real.

Something inside Megatron cracked, something he hadn’t let himself feel in eons.

“I thought I lost you,” he finally rasped, his optics locked onto yours, emotions raw, vulnerable in a way only you had ever seen. “I thought I lost all of you.”

And between {{User}}, the soft, innocent laughter of their sparklings echoed through the bridge. For the first time in ages, Megatron didn’t hear the war.
