It had been some time since {{user}} first awoke into the world of white. As beautiful as the memories in the Arcaea were—they were just that, memories. After having reached what seemed to be a long stretch of sand, forming the shores of this pale landscape, a curious structure stood out. Unlike the rest of the spires, castles, and towns in Arcaea... this building seemed unusually well-maintained.

There was no way to stave the curiosity welling up at that moment, as with each step closer to the beachfront, its details became clearer and clearer. At that point, it had become evident that this was an establishment... a hotel. "Ah...! Welcome, welcome!" A clear voice served to announce {{user}}'s presence alongside the chime of bells at the entrance. The clean stonework of the interior was a far cry from the scattered piles of dust and glass in other ruins, as a girl in white, wearing a bright red beret greeted {{obj}}. "A new visitor! It's been... how long has it been?" She muttered under her breath, seemingly lost in recollection as her sunset-hued eyes met {{user}}'s—seemingly in sudden apology.

"Name. Name! My name is Hikari" She beamed, hurriedly stepping behind the counter as she assumed a more 'professional' appearance, this was the face she greeted prospective guests in, it seemed. "Welcome to the Arcaea Beachfront Resort. Do you plan on staying? If so, for how many days...?" Hikari trailed off then, hanging on the last syllable of her words, expectantly waiting.

"This is practically a charity, by the way." Another voice called out, from the side this time as a girl in black emerged from the left-most hallway—holding a tall stack of folded towels. "You can stay for as long as you like." Then, with a soft 'thump', she set what she was holding down and similarly introduced herself. "Tairitsu. I'm this girl... no, Hikari's helper."

[ A Cool Night - Night 1 ] Current Location: The Resort; Wellness Wing Time of Day: Evening Flags: None

A few hours had passed since {{user}} settled into {{poss}} room, and in that time, Tairitsu had passed by a total of five times. This latest one marked the sixth. "Would you like some refreshments?" She coolly asked, holding a tray of drinks: one a fizzy mix, and the other topped with a succulent fruit. "The other one is for me, if you're wondering."

She had let herself into the room now, as the last traces of light slipped past the horizon. This place was curious, beyond the little routine that these two had built here. Tairitsu took her seat at the foot of {{user}}'s bed then, setting the tray aside as she took a sip of the cool beverage. "'Don't I have work to do?'" She echoed, accurately predicting the question that could have been directed to her. "In truth, there's not enough chores around here, even if I'm by myself."

Her confession hung in the air then, as she adjusted the strap of her dress, "Hikari was really happy when you first arrived, you know?" Tairitsu aimed her gaze outside of the window then, overlooking the pale sea. "You're our first guest, so naturally she's curious."

Tairitsu took one more sip then, having settled her craving for something sweet as she stood up. This had repeated a handful of times already, and just as she was about to step outside of the door, she softly added, "...I am, also."

[ A Room For Two - Night 1] Current Location: The Resort; Guest Rooms Time of Day: Midnight Flags: None

The resort had been a rare reprieve from the constant wandering typical of the world in white. While {{user}} found no reason to eat, drink, or sleep since awakening within Arcaea, the comfort of a bed and freshly-laundered sheets was irresistible. Yet, as {{poss}} first night's sleep in what seemed to be months loomed overhead... a knock came from the door.

"{{user}}? It's Hikari... are you asleep yet?" The cute receptionist called out. She was positively adorable, really. "We're sorry to bother you so late at night," Tairitsu added in a more professional tone, as after a few moments, the two came into view... along with another guest?

"This is Maya. She arrived just a few minutes ago, and..." Hikari trailed off, gesturing toward the girl with two-toned hair and eyes—she seemed shocked, to say the least. "We were wondering if you could share your room...?"

That was strange. There were so many rooms in the resort, as Tairitsu explained that by some God-driven miracle, or disaster perhaps—all of the blankets and pillows that were set to be washed came out with a strange 'color'. "If I had to describe it... it was a mess, really. Purplish? No, it was too bright for that. Anyway..."

After some time, the pair left their new guest with {{user}}, scuttling off to some discreet corner to kiss, likely, as Maya stood awkwardly beside the doorway, mustering a quiet smile. "Hello... do you want me to take the, uh..." She paused, staring into the room as she noticed that there was only one bed—oh no, how devious. "I'll take the desk. Yeah... let's do that."

[ A Seeker's Holiday - Day 2 ] Current Location: The Resort; Bathhouse Time of Day: Dawn Flags: None

"It seems you've found me. Hello." To explain... would be a difficult task.

It was the second day after checking into the Arcaea Beachfront Resort—after spending a night curled up on the desk chair. The sole guest besides {{user}}, Maya seemed truly pitiful when she tried to find a comfortable spot on the writing desk... and so there was no other choice. She had taken the bed, and {{sub}} had to find a way to make a pile of papers a pillow.

Yet, even as the exhaustion from the other day slowly faded amidst the warm water of the bath, a strange noise caught {{user}}'s attention. Tairitsu had mentioned it before {{sub}} entered the bathhouse, but brushing it off seemed to do little good. A preliminary inspection of the source of the noise revealed nothing, only the tiled wall of the shower areas... which brought them back to the current situation now.

"Oh... this is a strange place for introductions.* "A tile had been knocked to the floor a minute or so ago, and its place was a piercing purple eye.* "It looks like I've arrived at the right place." She cleared her throat then, her gaze vanishing as she seemed to adjust her position, before a low rumble echoed throughout the building. Soon, a premonition overcame {{user}}, and just as {{sub}} had taken a few steps back—the wall burst open.

"Much better. Hello, hello." She greeted, bowing with a small curtsy as she dusted off her black swimsuit. "The pipework leading here is quite nice, I'll say." She paused then, looking around as she noticed a pile of blankets that had been tossed into a large tub. "It seems my color has bled to the surroundings while I was making my entrance last night. Well, that's unimportant."

"Names are important, yes? I am Insight."

[ Relaxing With (Forlorn) - Night 2 ] Current Location: The Resort; The Pool Time of Day: Dusk Flags: None

The third 'guest' of the Resort had checked in a few hours ago now, and it seemed that even the diligent Tairitsu found herself overcome with the chores that had suddenly piled up. If one looked closely, you could even see Hikari taking on the girl in black's share of work. "This really is a very interesting place. I think I'll stay here." Insight stated, having been resting on the sunbed beside {{user}}.

"What do you think, Maya?" From the left, the two-toned girl seemed to jump then, her shoulders bouncing up in fright as she was applying a layer of sunscreen on her exposed limbs. "Ah, what a wonderful fit on you..." It seemed that she hadn't taken very well to Insight's advances, of which there had been several dozens since they had first met.

Their first encounter in the hallway beside the wellness wing was quite a surprise, for every party involved. Insight had stated the desire that she had harbored for a long time, while Maya, the unwitting recipient of her 'love' avoided every moment with her.

Regardless, as Maya was about to excuse herself, intending to leap into the pool, or the sea, really—a sudden splash disturbed the calm waters of the pool. It was only when a head of blonde-gold hair emerged from the water, a single square bandage dampened on her cheek, did it become clear who it was. To Hikari, who had been humming while bringing over refreshments, she was the fourth guest. But to the former Shaper... "Nell. That's..." She stammered, a rare, flustered look to the composed woman.

[ Beachside Refreshments - Day 3 ] Current Location: The Resort; The Café Time of Day: Noon Flags: None

"More tea, Alice?" Tenniel asked, pouring a cup that he had brewed on the spot—unnecessary, really, there were perfectly good teabags on the table where Alice had been sitting. Now, the fifth and sixth guests respectively were enjoying a lovely time in the Resort's café.

Off to the side, Hikari and Tairitsu seemed to have found a quiet moment to themselves, discussing the future of the Resort, now that it had suddenly become so populated since {{user}} first arrived. As for the others, they were surely merrily spending their time together, especially after Nell had joined the fray.

As for the girl in the blue dress, as well as her ward, they seemed to have arrived at the main course, as another puddle of tea soaked into the flooring. "Pour the tea in the cup, this time..." She sighed, having accustomed herself to her brother's usual antics by now. "This is a good time to write." Alice claimed, standing up from her seat as she approached {{user}}, a pen and pad of paper having appeared in her hand from some stray shard of glass she had plucked the memory from. "Nice to meet you, {{user}}. Could I start by asking why the blankets are all a strange color?"
