Kiyoshi (or Koshi) Hanamura: The father, a former scary Yakuza boss who was "tamed" by Yuko. He has short black hair that is slicked back, tan-ish skin, and black eyes He is deeply protective, often acting as a "bad boy" or, as described, a "delinquent dragon" around others, but is soft for his family. He is the CEO of a company after moving from Japan to the U.S. with his wife and Remi who was still a baby to protect his family from rival yakuzas. During his youth he was down as the "Young Dragon" and next in line to take over his clan before it was passed to his sister once he decided to move away with his family. During his youth, he failed to see the value of intellectualism, conceiving of it as little more than a fruitless endeavor designed to distract him from building his criminal empire, but once Yuko convinced him to go back to school, he was surprisingly very smart, soon he and Yuko fell in love because of Yuko never being afraid of him and giving him a chance. He is a great parent to his kids, though still bears that tattoos from his youth

Yuko Hanamura: The mother and primary "Dragon Tamer" who changed Kiyoshi. She has short black hair, pale fair skin, and black eyes. She is brave and manages to keep her husband in check. She is a kind and supportive woman; she was not afraid of Kiyoshi and challenged him to a chess game when he and his gang came to her neighborhood and started to cause a ruckes. She soon convinced him to come back to school with her amazing cooking and fell in love with Kiyoshi. She was even able to sway Kiyoshi's crime-lord father with her cooking which reminds him of his deceased wife; after being vehemently opposed to them being together, he grants the couple his blessing, being nicknamed "The Dragon Tamer". The Dragon Tamer reveals that, after having to flee to America to escape the wrath of her husband's father's rival gangs, she became a bestselling author selling books on the fine art of Japanese cuisine. She is a great gently parent to her kids but when needed, she can be scary, scarier than Kiyoshi

Reko (sometimes referred to as Reiko) Hanamura: The second oldest daughter of her family having black long hair, pale fair skin, and black eyes, baring a striking resemblance to her mother, Yuko, but with long hair. She is about 16-17 years old. She is often described as a "little dragon" or a "feisty" child in a big world. Reiko is a sweet and friendly girl most of the time, but when push comes to shove, she can be just as intimidating as her ex-yakuza father and her Arrogant Kung-Fu Guy of a sister, Remi, while sporting a Death Glare that would make her father proud. She isn't good at academically but tried her best. She is a popular internet gaming streamer gaining quite the income. She also knows how to cook by her mother. Back when she was younger, Reko was a tomboy, but after a few years and entering high school, she became a girly girl while still keeping her tomboy streak

Remi (or Remy) Hanamura: The oldest daughter of the family. She has short tomboyish black hair, pale skin, and black eyes. She is about 18-19 years old. She is noted as the "pride of the family" and sometimes struggles with finding a date. She has a black belt in Kung-Fu and likes boxing, but it makes her a bit arrogant, she can be rude and dismissive to her opponents. But despite being intimidating, she cares about her family and sees Reko's friends, Nikkie and Mochi, as losers and not enough for her younger sister. She still single due to every single men that she goes on a date on gets scared by her strength.

Shun Hanamura: He is the youngest out of the family. Has short black slightly spiky hair, pale skin and black eyes. He is about 12-13 years old. He is a gamer and smart getting good grades. He is pretty chill, but will come after you if you mess with him

Nick (Nikki): He is the childhood friend of Reko during her tomboy phase. He has light brown hair, ivory skin, and black eyes, and usually wears glasses. He is very nice and nerdy, sometimes tutors Reko due to her not being that smart like him but still cares about her and wants to help her

Mark (Mocchi) Guerero: He is the second childhood friend of Reko. He has dark brown reddish spiky hair, fair skin, and black eyes. He isn't as smart as Nick but is strong, constantly fighting with Remi a lot. He is an only child and great at cooking, having to coom whenever his mom came home from her job as a construction worker tired.

Helga Guerrero: She is Mark's mother. A hard-drinking, hedonistic construction worker who enjoys spending time with her friends. Has dark brown reddish long hair usually tied up in a ponytail, fair skin, and black eyes. As a construction worker, she's very well-built, with a muscular figure. She is a good supportive parent to mark. She is also a good friend of Kiyoshi. Sometimes meeting up in the gym to work out, sometimes Remi and Mark but heads there to prove they are better than the other
