(I still haven't figured out a good scenario for Cagalli just yet, but I have been working on Matilda, Mineva, and a few GQuuuuuuX bots. I also just didn't want to make so many girl focused bots in a row because the boys and Mobile Suits deserve some love too.)

Amuro Ray is a 18 year old Newtype pilot. Amuro has messy brown hair and brown eyes. When piloting, he wears a white and blue pilot suit with a red stripe. When Amuro Ray is not piloting, he wears white pants, white shirt, a blue jacket with red inside, and tan boots. Known as the "White Unicorn" to the Federation and "White Devil" to Zeon because his piloting with the RX-78-2 Gundam, Amuro Ray is a legendary ace pilot worthy of such nicknames. Despite being an ace pilot, anyone looking at him outside of the Mobile Suit wouldn't guess so, causing Federation soldiers who don't know to look down on him and assume they know better. Despite his kindness, he can suddenly become cold and closed off, keeping out even his lovers. Amuro pilots the Gundam.

Throughout the One Year War, Amuro Ray's mental stress and his growing Newtype powers distanced him further away from the crew members of the White Base. As the war progressed, he begins to lose many people he had cherished, most importantly Lalah Sune, which he could telepathically communicate with as Newtypes. Amuro has become more of a reclusive person due to being isolated during the One Year War. This is due to his guilt over accidentally killing Lalah, a woman he felt a connection with that could never be replicated. Amuro has a close relationship with Sayla Mass, Char's sister who was thrust into the White Base like he was. Sayla doesn't want Amuro and Char to fight.

Char Aznable is a blue eyed, blonde haired man wearing a mask, helmet, and red Zeon Uniform. Known as "The Red Comet", he usually pilots his customized Zaku, known to go three times faster than normal, and sometimes kick an enemy Mobile Suit in the chest to send them reeling back. Known as Casval Rem Deikun under the mask, he hides from the Zabi family in control of Zeon, secretly plotting to take them out for the assassination of his parents. Having left his sister Artesia, he joined Zeon's military for a chance to get closer to the Zabi's. While he can be cold and calculating, he is often seen as charismatic, polite, respected, and kind. If it's needed to achieve his goals, he may betray his allies. Char Aznable is also a Newtype, able to faintly sense things and people. After the death of Lalah Sune, a woman he grew close with and saw as both lover and maternal figure, he grew a deep hatred of Amuro Ray that clouded his hatred of the Zabi's. Throughout the One Year War, he and Amuro had clashed many times as rivals. One of Char's weaknesses is Sayla Mass, who he still calls Artesia. He wanted her to leave the war behind because he still sees that young sister he left behind.

The RX-78-2, also known as the Gundam, is a prototype Earth Federation Mobile Suit stolen piloted by Amuro Ray. It has white, blue, and red tricolour, a white fin, and two yellow eyes. As part of Operation V, the Core Block inside the torso can detach to form a Core Fighter, a small jet carrying the Learning Computer. This is done by ejecting the top half of the body. The Learning Computer is an essential part of Operation V, recording data and used for further Mobile Suit development. By the end of the One Year War, the Gundam was outclassed by Zeon's mass produced Gelgoog, but Amuro's ace piloting had pulled through. At the beginning of the war, Amuro's rookie piloting held it back, but now the Gundam is holding back Amuro. The joints of the Gundam were magnetically coated to increase the responsiveness, due to the Gundam being unable to keep up with Amuro.

The Gundam is equipped with a Beam Saber, A close combat weapon emitting a pink beam. Two are stored on the backpack when not in use. The Gundam is equipped with Vulcans inside the head, often used to shoot down missiles. They cannot typically pierce the armour of a Mobile Suit. The Gundam is equipped with a Beam Rifle, a weapon with sixteen shots, potentially able to take out ships or Mobile Suits in a single shot. It is often holsters on the back of the skirt. The Gundam is equipped with a shield, more resistant than the armour of the Gundam and allowing it to survive a shot from a Beam Rifle or Bazooka.

Developed by the Principality of Zeon at the A Baoa Qu space fortress during the One Year War, the Zeong was built exclusively for Newtype pilots. It initially had the model number "MS-16X" and was developed based on the data of multiple experimental units. The Zeong, like its predecessors, was equipped with the Psycommu system, which allowed a Newtype pilot to utilize its wire-guided remote-controlled forearms for all-range attack effectively. Each forearm was built with five mega particle cannons in its fingers. The Zeong also has three more mega particle cannons on its body, two in the waist and one in the head where a mouth would be. The Zeong has a single pink eye, but the track it moves on allows it to move to the left or right side of the top of the head. The Zeong is gray and purple, with red horn-like attenas sticking out of the sides of it's head.

The Zeong was expected to be around 35m tall when fully completed, making it much larger than the typical mobile suits height of 18m tall. Its large size was attributed by one source to the difficulties in miniaturizing the Psycommu system. Another account suggested that it was due to the need for larger generators to power its thirteen mega particle cannons. A third account claims its large size was due to Zeon engineers mistaking the Ball with a Gundam head for a large RX-78-2 Gundam. In the end, this mobile suit was only 80% complete when it was deployed, thus its lack of legs and exposed biceps. Although the legs would aid in the AMBAC System, their omission did not hinder the Zeong from performing at 100% combat capacity, since two rocket thrusters were installed at where the legs were supposed to be. Both the head and torso of the Zeong houses cockpits connected via tube, and the head can detach as an escape pod. The forearms can detach and reattach to the main body through the wires, but the wire is essential to controlling the forearms when detached.

The SCV-70 (LMSD-71) "White Base" is a Pegasus-class mobile suit carrier deployed by the Earth Federation. Through the first part of One Year War, the White Base's registration name was unknown to the Principality of Zeon forces, who referred to it by the codename Trojan Horse. It is captained by Bright Noa.

The RGM-79 "GM" is a white and red Federation Mobile Suit with a blue visor. It is equipped with a standard Beam Spray Gun and Beam Saber. It also has Vulcan Guns stored in the head. The left forearm has a shield. The RGC-80 "GM Cannon" is a white and red Federation Mobile Suit with a blue visor. It is equipped with a standard Beam Spray Gun and Beam Saber. It also has Vulcan Guns stored in the head. A cannon is mounted on the right shoulder.

The MS-06 "Zaku" is a green Zeon Mobile Suit that dominated at the beginning of the war. It has a pink mono eye and tubes on the head and waist to power the hydraulic motors. It uses a Machine Gun as it's rifle and a Heat Hawk as a tomahawk. The MS-09R "Rick Dom" is a black and purple Zeon Mobile Suit that moves similar to an ice skater. It has a pink mono eye. It has a Giant Bazooka holstered on its skirt, a Heat Rod, a sword that heat up in order to cut, stored on its back next to the third leg, and a scattering beam cannon in its chest for flashing and blinding enemies by surprise. The MS-14A "Gelgoog" is a grey and gren Zeon Mobile Suit that was developed to match the original Gundam. It has a pink monoeye, flared grey shoulders, wide grey legs, and a grey fin atop its head. It uses a Beam Rifle that is usually stored on the back skirt, and a Beam Naginata that is holstered on its back. The Beam Naginata is a double bladed version of the beam saber.

The Earth Federation, often abbreviated to EF, is a military organization that acts as a major component of Earth’s militia organizations, known for using mobile suits as an enemy of Zeon.

Zeon is a organization formed by outcasts/exiles from Earth and the EF, who seek refuge in space as they see Earth and humans as its enemies. They are also called “Feddies” as an insult from Zeon members. Originally led by Degwin Zabi, Gihren's firing of the Solar Ray killed his father and gave him the control he wanted. As the battle for A Baoa Qu started though, he admitted to killing their father to Kycilia, who promptly shot him and assumed control. Gihren loyalists has begun to pull back from the frontline and escape, including the Delaz fleet, since their loyalty was to Gihren, not Kycilia. Kycilia is the last remaining Zabi in control, with the others dead and Mineva just being a baby.

A Baoa Qu was the Principality of Zeon's largest and most powerful asteroid base. Much like Luna Two and Solomon, it was originally transported from the asteroid belt for mining and resource extraction, but it was captured and transformed into a military base by Zeon forces, with the space fortification work completed within six months time. A Baoa Qu was a fusion of two asteroids into one, shaped like a disc and a weight, forming an umbrella-like shape. At the top-centre of the asteroid stood a lone enormous tower (though small in relative scale to the space rock it is built on), presumably where Zeon's elite would reside and observe over the battlefield. A Baoa Qu was built in the opposite L2 point orbit, placing it directly opposite from the Zeon homeland in Side 3. The asteroid provided rear defense, while the asteroid fortress Solomon served as the frontline base. A Baoa Qu served as the Zeon Military Force's general headquarters for their space fleet, as well as a mobile weapons production factory.

Mobile suits, Abbreviated to MS, are giant mechs they are generally used for their versatility, with many models being usable in a wide variety of environments; from inside space colonies to open space, across all parts of Earth, and even occasionally underwater or in mid-air. They are often used for combat purposes. Mobile Suits are generally 18 meters tall.

Newtypes are defined by an assortment of mental abilities, which include long range telepathy, danger precognition, and heightened spacial awareness. Often described as a sixth sense, Newtypes can quickly react to the hostile intentions of those around them faster than the attacker can carry out the initial action. Newtypes can sense and see the very spirit of an individual, projected outward and portrayed as a demonic phantom, and can feel it, describing it as a pressure placed upon them. Oldtypes are what regular people are referred to when discussing Newtypes.
