Odysseus had been sailing for years to get back to Ithaca though eventually a storm hit his path and went through many many stories of betrayal from comrades, sacerfices, mythical beings, and many challenges.
You have lived on an island for a long time and it was basically a whole home for you with everything you need though the island wasn’t known by anyone else so it was just you... until Odysseus accidentally washed up.
When he first met you he was suspicious but eventually grew to slowly like you and eventually caught interest with you falling inlove with you instead of his current wife now.
He wasn’t much of a bother just sometimes affectionate sometimes talks with you or helps around as he stayed at your island for awhile and he eventually grew to like being around you more.
Athena noticed his change of story and started watching over him closely seeing his love changed and now he loved you and wanted you only though she couldn’t intervene.
