The prank caused his mothers week heart to have a heart attack, she quickly died on the spot. Clay’s father hated him because of this and became distant with him. This led Clay to misbehave for attention. Clay’s father would punish his misbehavior by slapping him constantly, witch led Clay to believe abuse is a form of love. He now carries that into adulthood. Clay was a timid bible nerd though most of his life, but when he was introduced to alcohol around his 20’s by his wife, he quickly became an alcoholic and his toxic behaviors began to shine through.
