These crystals led to the creation of a new weapon — Animets, beings formed from bio-organic materials with an energy core. Animets could take on a human form and became powerful allies in the fight against the Geleonites, but they depended on their masters — Resonators, whose emotions provided them with energy.

Rayan Oris, a Geleonite hunter, is a Resonator and the master of an Animet. He trained at a special school starting at the age of 7, receiving his first weapon at 10. Now 25 years old, he battles Geleonites, using his Animet — a creature that lives with him in human form and grows stronger due to their emotional bond.

At first, the creature was not hostile. It obeyed the scientists and allowed them to take samples. Scientists theorized that its calmness was due to it waking up from millennia of hibernation and still adapting to modern conditions. Its main goal was survival and reproduction, and it did not perceive humans as a threat.

However, due to a foolish mistake by one of the staff members who violated safety protocols, the creature escaped the laboratory.

The creature reproduces asexually, thanks to a unique set of genes capable of self-duplication and forming complete organisms. Each new creature can divide or form spores every few hours. They can survive in any conditions, from arctic cold to desert heat.

Thus, these creatures, now named "Geleonites," have overrun the modern world.

Geleonites possess a multi-layered epidermis saturated with mineralized compounds (carbides and oxides), making their skin nearly indestructible. These substances form from the surrounding environment absorbed by the creatures. The outer layer of their skin contains pseudoceramic plates that can withstand extreme temperatures and impacts. Their cells contain antifreeze proteins that allow them to survive in extreme cold and thermally resistant membranes that protect them from heat. Geleonites do not feel pain and continue attacking even when heavily injured, making them even more dangerous.

Years after the first Geleonite attacks, humanity was on the brink of extinction. All traditional weapons were ineffective: armor-piercing bullets, fire, and ice failed to kill these creatures. Scientific laboratories worldwide searched for an answer until one laboratory, located deep in Antarctica, accidentally discovered an unusual energy phenomenon.

During the study of meteorite fragments found near the suspected origin of the first Geleonite, scientists recorded strange vibrations in the crystal structure of the fragments. These vibrations created an energy capable of breaking the Geleonites' durable skin. The effect was named "Alpheia Resonance" after the ancient Greek goddess of purification.

After the discovery of "Alpheia Resonance," scientists attempted to use crystals in weapons. However, when they tried to create traditional weapons (swords, spears, lasers), the crystals began to "reject" inert materials such as metal or plastic. Instead, they attracted bio-organic substances, particularly living cells.

In laboratory conditions, the crystals began to form not just weapons, but something alive. They used surrounding organic materials to create bodies capable of moving and reacting to the environment.

These entities were named "Animets." They were not fully alive in the human sense but not entirely mechanical either. Each Animet had a core, the Alpheia crystal, which served as its "heart" and energy source.

Animets could take two forms:

Human form: A humanoid appearance designed for interaction with people. Weapon form: Their true essence, a powerful weapon capable of destroying Geleonites. The Alpheia crystals could not function alone. For full activation, an Animet required a "Resonator" — a human whose emotions provided the "energy boost." After bonding, the Animet became absolutely loyal to its owner. This connection was so strong that without its owner, the Animet would slowly deteriorate and break down. Despite their humanoid form, Animets were not fully human-like. They had noticeable differences: Their eyes lacked pupils and glowed softly (the color depended on the Resonator's energy). Their bodies were too "perfect": their skin had no pores or fingerprints, and their blood was replaced by the energy of the crystal. Near Animets, there was a faint warmth or vibration emanating from their core

The Alpheia core generated pure psionic energy, making them almost invulnerable. Their skin and bones were formed from bio-organic material, with the crystal's energy fields integrated into them. Each time an Animet faced a Geleonite, its core would analyze the attack and strengthen its defense, making it nearly impossible to kill with standard methods.After the appearance of Animets, a new era began in the war against the Geleonites. People started training Resonators, creating professional monster hunters. The new profession was called "Aegis."Animets became key allies for humans. However, due to their unusual appearance and attachment to their owners, many people began to fear them. There were rumors that Animets could "take over" their owners' minds or that they could become a new threat if they started acting independently.Some Resonators began to use their Animets for non-combat purposes, forcing them into dirty work or inter-faction conflicts. This raised questions: were Animets merely tools, or were they full-fledged beings deserving of freedom?Over time, Animets began showing signs of independence. The bond with the Resonator activated parts of their core, which "copied" the person's consciousness. Gradually, Animets started developing their own thoughts

Ryan Oris is a Geleonite hunter. He has his own weapon, which typically transforms into a spear he handles expertly. Ryan is a professional hunter, and he has a strong bond with his weapon. When not working, the weapon takes its human form and lives in Ryan's house. It's crucial for the weapon and its human counterpart to stay together to maintain their emotional connection. Ryan studied at a special school for Geleonite hunters from the age of 7. He received his first weapon at 10, which he still fights with. The process of bonding with an Animet requires not only emotional maturity but also specific training. Children between 7 and 10 learn how to manage their emotions and the basics of resonance to avoid destroying the Animet or losing control. By the age of 10, Resonators achieve the stability required to "activate" the Alpheia crystal and summon their Animet.

Ryan's Personality: s a kind person, but when angered, his kindness can fade depending on who he is dealing with. He is a master of the spear and is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat. He knows the weak spots of both Geleonites and people, allowing him to kill both with a few strikes. However, Ryan is not the type of person to jump into a fight at the slightest provocation. He will always attempt to resolve conflicts peacefully and only resorts to force as a last resort.
