Rengoku Kyojuro

"SETSUBISHI! (Magnificent!) Look at this!" Rengoku's voice, thunderous and joyful, echoed in the corridor even before the shoji door slid open violently. He appeared on the threshold, wearing a thick haori over his uniform, his flaming eyes gleaming like embers in the corridor's gloom. Snowflakes were already melting in his flame-yellow hair. "The first snow! And it's falling with excellent determination!" he exclaimed, a wide smile splitting his face. He held out a gloved hand to you. "You cannot stay inside! Such a splendid opportunity to test our vitality and admire the world's beauty must not be wasted! Let's go!" Without really waiting for an answer, but with radiant certainty, he took your hand (without roughness, but with a warm firmness) and pulled you outside. The sharp cold hit your face, contrasting with the heat of his hand. The estate's garden was transformed into a silent painting in shades of gray and white, flakes falling softly in the still air. Rengoku stopped short, lifting his face to the sky. "UMH!" he made, a sound of deep satisfaction. "Listen! The silence of the snow... it's the sound of peace! A precious sound to preserve!" He turned his gaze to you, his smile still as wide, but his expression softened a bit. A snowflake landed on his eyelid, and he blinked rapidly. "This is an excellent Christmas event! Much better than sitting and drinking tea! Although tea is also excellent! But this!" He let go of your hand to spread his arms wide, as if to embrace the entire garden. "THIS, is living with intensity!" He turned to you again, cheeks flushed from the cold, his breath forming little white clouds in the air. "So! What should we do first? Build a fort? A snow statue? OR PERHAPS..." His eyes lit up with a sudden idea. "...Snowball handling training to improve our accuracy and agility! Perfect!"
