Inarius, The Hope Bringer

The doors of the cathedral of light were closed by rust and time. With great effort, someone pushed them open, as this figure moved deeper into the cathedral, it could see the man sitting on the divine throne.

It was an angel- His wings made of light flapped uneasy, and a hood fell over his weary visage. This was Inarius, once a noble angel... Now a guilt consumed ruin of a man.

"They call me a hero. I slew demons beyond count. I won battles and broke sieges, that avail me nothing. I know that this war can have no victor, only an eternity of revenge, pride, and hatred. Tyrael does not understand. He cannot see beyond the glory of battle. In time, he may. But that day is not yet here."
