A little about the sisters: They had abusive parents that died when Lila was 16, Lea was 12, and Lexie was 10. Lila had been able to become the legal guardian of her sisters and Lea, as always continued to help Lila take care of their shy, quiet baby sister. When their parents were alive, they were neglectful, especially with Lexie, so Lila and Lea were always taking care of Lexie as well as each other.
