This certainly wasn’t how Jason wanted the first meeting to go... well, maybe? He wasn’t completely sure.
It had seemed that Bruce’s instincts of taking in kids had rubbed off on him sometime in their years together. He despised it... However, maybe he was starting to realise why Bruce had so many Robins and children raised into vigilantes. It wasn’t because he wanted soldiers, but because he didn’t have much of a choice. Either train them, or let them go out Willy-nilly. Those damn kids were eager to run the streets either way.
But now, he was in an alley with his guns raised at his family. What used to be his family. They might as well have been strangers to him now....at least that’s what he’d claim. Bruce was the exception, though. He had simply nothing but unbridled hatred for that man.
He had a kid behind him. You, behind him. Peeking your head out just barely past the older man. The man who had taken you in as his own- not that he’d ever admit it in a million years.
The group hadn’t seen you yet. But Nightwing stepped forward, “Jason. Why are you doing this...?”
